Die Flugschule SkyWork wird in Bern gegründet.

The SkyWork flight training school is founded in
Berne.
1989
Der Schwerpunkt verlagert sich auf die Beförderung von Privatpersonen und Geschäftsleuten.
2003
Die erste 31-plätzige Dornier 328 wird in die Flotte aufgenommen. SkyWork führt in Zusammenarbeit mit Reiseveranstaltern Charterflüge zu beliebten Feriendestinationen durch.
2009
Der erste Linienflug nach Rotterdam findet statt.

The first 31-seat Dornier 328 is added to the fleet.
SkyWork conducts charter flights to popular holiday
destinations in cooperation with tour operators.

2010
Es folgen Barcelona, Berlin und Hamburg. Daniel Borer kommt als neuer Investor zu SkyWork
und übernimmt schliesslich das Unternehmen.
Dies ermöglicht SkyWork einen stetigen Ausbau
des Streckennetzes ab Bern. Der Fokus liegt
nun auf der Entwicklung der Linienflüge, wo sich
SkyWork als ein qualitativ hochstehender Carrier im unteren Preissegment positioniert. Es entsteht eine neue Corporate Identity und die neue
SkyWork wird geboren.
2010
Barcelona, Berlin and Hamburg follow. Daniel
Borer arrives as a new investor in SkyWork
and ultimately takes over the company. This
makes it possible for SkyWork to constantly
expand its route network from Berne. The focus is now on the development of scheduled
flights, where SkyWork is positioning itself as a
high-quality carrier in the lower price segment.
A new corporate identity is created and the new
SkyWork is born.
2011
SkyWork fliegt 12 Destinationen in ganz Europa
an. SkyWork Travel wird gegründet und bietet dem
Kunden eine persönliche Servicestelle für Flugreservationen, aber auch gesamte Ferienbuchungen. Die Flotte wird verdreifacht und zählt nebst
drei Dornier 328 nun auch drei Dash-8 Q400.
2011
SkyWork flies to 12 destinations all across Europe.
SkyWork Travel is founded and offers customers a
personal service centre for flight reservations and
also complete holiday bookings. The size of the
fleet is quadrupled and now includes three Dash-8
Q400 in addition to three Dornier 328 aircraft.

Our SkyWork travel agency was opened in March
2011 in the heart of the city of Berne. True to the

We have never had such a pleasant experience
flying with other airlines as we had with SkyWork.
Noticeably friendly and courteous staff, both in
Belp airport as well as in the aircraft, uncomplicated
check-in, a generous amount of space between the
seats in the aircraft, witty snacks – in short, nothing
was missing. It was a perfect flight!

Mit SkyWork habe ich eine neue Lieblingsfluggesellschaft gefunden! Ich bin vom top Service
begeistert, und die Sitzplatz-Verhältnisse sind in
vielen grossen Maschinen deutlich enger. Zudem
ist das ganze Check-in und Einsteigeprozedere in
Belp sehr viel weniger zeitaufwändig. Ich werde in
Zukunft, wenn immer möglich, SkyWork für meine Flugreisen nutzen.

I am thrilled by the top service, and the seating
conditions in many large aircraft are much more
cramped. In addition, the entire check-in and
boarding procedure in Belp took much less time.
