As I’m sure you know, the cost of running the parish has become more and more difficult. We are struggling to pay the bills on time, and therefore, had to make some adjustments to our spending habits. One of the things we had to do was to adjust our payroll. Patrick Perkins, who has been serving the parish for over 13 years in the youth faith formation programs, Shadow Players, and many other facets, will be leaving our employ but remaining with us as a volunteer. Mary Ann Palmer, who has served as the front desk receptionist at the office, has also agreed after four years of service to continue to stay with us as a volunteer. Beth Poggioli, our parish manager for the past year, has decided she would like to pursue work in an area other than her present position. Leslie Jacobs, a teacher’s aide in our preschool program, has decided to follow other interests also. We are extremely grateful for these four individuals and their service to our parish. We wish them well in their new endeavors and thank them for everything they have done for us. We are very pleased that Patrick and Mary Ann are able to continue with us as volunteers. We will miss Beth and Leslie very much. May they know that God blesses them wherever they go, and we appreciate all the good work they did here at St. Francis de Sales. Parish Office will be closed from Thursday July 2nd thru Sunday July 5th for the holiday long weekend. We also would like to ask you, our faithful parishioners, to be as generous as you can in your offertory giving. Thank you for all your support and may God bless you.
