Percorrere a piedi il centro storico di pordenone significa immergersi in un’atmosfera di altri tempi,
dove l’eleganza dei palazzi e dei porticati si accompagna alla poesia degli affreschi che, come le
pagine di un libro, sembrano voler raccontare la storia della città.
Le linee fluide e armoniche di quella che fu la Contrada Maggiore racchiudono tesori inestimabili
e conducono alla scoperta di angoli nascosti quanto suggestivi: chiese, piazze, un ex convento, un
chiostro, le vecchie mura di cinta, strette vie lungo le quali vennero costruite le principali residenze
nobiliari. Si aggiunga una visita ai numerosi musei, una passeggiata lungo il fiume Noncello o una
sosta in uno dei tanti locali tipici, e si potrà godere di un piccolo indimenticabile viaggio.

alte Stadtmauer, enge Straßen, an denen die wichtigsten Adelspaläste stehen. Es empfiehlt sich auch
eine Besichtigung der zahlreichen Museen, ein Spaziergang entlang dem Fluss Noncello oder eine
Rast in einem der vielen typischen Lokale, um eine unvergessliche kleine Reise zu genießen.
Walking in the centre of Pordenone means plunging into an atmosphere of past times, where the
elegance of the palaces and of the colonnades is combined with the beauty of the frescoes that, like
the pages of a book, seem to be willing to tell the story of the city.
The flowing and harmonious lines of the former Contrada Maggiore preserve treasures of inestimable
