Die Leistungsbeurteilung findet erst ab der 4. Klasse statt. Die Gesamtnote setzt sich aus der Beurteilung der Kompetenzbereiche Hörverstehen, Sprechen und Leseverstehen zusammen. Da der
Bereich Schreiben im Englischunterricht der Grundschule eine untergeordnete Rolle spielen soll, wird er in der Beurteilung nicht berücksichtigt.
Die Englischnote setzt sich nach Beschluss der Fachkonferenz wie folgt zusammen:
60 % Hörverstehen (50% Tests, 50% Unterrichtsbeobachtungen)
30 % Sprechen
10 % Leseverstehen
