Bill Clinton Recomienda un “Plan México”
Para Combatir al Narcotráfico
El ex presidente estadounidense Bill
Clinton recomendó hoy al Gobierno
mexicano diseñar su propio plan contra
el narcotráfico, similar al ‘Plan Colombia’,
sin subordinaciones y sin que el mismo
represente una intromisión de Estados
Unidos.
empresa privada y organizaciones civiles,

The San Jose Police Department is asking for the
public’s help in identifying the suspects in these photos.
Detective Jonathan Atkinson reports that on March
28, 2010, at about 3 am, these two suspects entered the
FoodMaxx Supermarket located at 1972 Tully Rd, San
Jose. They took the case of Budweiser beer seen in the

paying. When confronted by an employee, the second
suspect wearing the striped shirt, allegedly brandished
a knife at the employee, allowing both suspects to

Detective Matt Stott reports that on April 5th 2010,
at 11:45 AM, this suspect allegedly robbed the Bank
of Marin, located at 23 Reed Blvd in Mill Valley. According to Detective Stott this suspect
appears to be the same suspect from a recent robbery in Elk Grove,

civilians during
the World War Two Battle of Saipan. He

medal which was later upgraded to the
Navy Cross Medal for his bravery.
Guy was one of seven children in a
Mexican-American family. He was raised
in East Los Angeles where as a ten year
old he would earn a living by shining
shoes. Guy moved out of his house at
the age of 12 and moved in with the

that he considered to be his family. He
attended language school every day
with their children and learned to speak
Japanese.
very first day that he arrived on Saipan.
When World War II began, the US
Army put the Nakano family in a relocation camp in the Arizona desert. Guy
joined the United States Marine Corps
on his 17th birthday.
He was reprimanded by his superior
officers for leaving his post but the next
night he went out and did it again. He
carefully approached a cave, shot the
guards outside, moved off to one side of
the cave, and yelled in Japanese, “You’re
surrounded and have no choice but to
surrender. Come out, and you will not be
killed! I assure you will be well-treated.
We do not want to kill you!”
Near the end of World War Two, the
United States planned for a full scale
invasion of Japan. The capture of Saipan
Island was needed to establish airfields
for the B-29 Superfortress bombers
that would be used during the planned
invasion of Japan. On June 15, 1944, an
armada of 535 ships carrying 127,570
Americans which included Marines from
the 2nd and 4th Divisions began the invasion of Saipan. Japanese soldiers refused
to surrender during World War Two
and they were ordered by their superiors
to kill seven America soldiers for every

commit suicide.
The first night Guy was on Saipan, he
went out on his own and brought back
two prisoners by speaking Japanese to
them.
The next morning he returned with 50
Japanese prisoners. After that Guy’s commanding officer allowed him to continue

captain showed up and accepted Guy’s
conditions of surrender. More than 800
Japanese soldiers surrendered to Guy and
he became known as the “Pied Piper of
Saipan”.
Guy continued to capture more
Japanese soldiers until he was wounded in
a machine gun ambush. Guy was eventually credited with the capture of over
1,500 Japanese soldiers and was recommended for the Medal of Honor but was
awarded the Silver Star Medal.
Guy Gabaldon’s life was portrayed
in the popular Hollywood movie
“From Hell to Eternity”. Unfortunately
Hollywood changed his character to a
white man and was played by white actor
Jeffrey Hunter.
On July 7, 1944, Guy heard thousands
of Japanese troops preparing for a large
“banzai” charge. The attack was unsuccessful and the surviving Japanese soldiers
retreated. The next day, Guy captured

La Historia de Un Marina de los
EE.UU.
unos 1,500 soldados y civiles Japoneses
Nakanos, y aprendió a hablar japonés.

Salgan, y no
morirán! Les aseguro que serán bien
tratados. No queremos matarlos! “
A la mañana siguiente regresó con 50
prisioneros Japoneses.
sobrevivientes Japoneses.
mensaje a rendirse. Poco tiempo después,
un capitán Japonés se presentó y aceptó
las condiciones de Guy de rendirse. Más
de 800 soldados Japoneses se rindieron
ante Guy y fue conocido como el
“Flautista de Saipán”.
Guy siguió capturando más soldados
Japoneses hasta que fue herido en una
emboscada de ametralladora. Guy fué
acreditado finalmente con la captura de
más de 1,500 soldados Japoneses y fue
recomendado para la Medalla de Honor,
pero concedió la Medalla de Estrella
Plateada.
La vida de Guy Gabaldón fue
retratada en la popular película de
Hollywood “From Hell to Eternity”.

Federal Sentencing Guidelines Come Under Scrutiny to Change
After years of clamor from the law
community and public, the growing outcry for alternatives to incarceration in federal sentencing guidelines has been heard
and acted upon by the U.S. Sentencing
Commission.
The major concerns over the years have
been overcrowded prisons and courtrooms, questions over rigid sentences and
the need to factor in extenuating circumstances, such as mental health issues and
drug and alcohol abuse.
The issue came to a head on April
19, 2010, when the U.S. Sentencing
Commission announced it had voted to
promulgate sentencing guideline amendments that expand the availability of
alternatives to incarceration and address
the relevance of certain specific offender
characteristics in sentencing.
The Commission also voted to promulgate guideline amendments on additional
topics including hate crimes, the calculation of a defendant’s criminal history and
sentencing corporate offenders.
“The Commission has heard from virtually every sector of the criminal justice
community that there is a great need for
alternatives to incarceration,” said Chair
of the Commission, William K. Sessions
III. “Expanding the availability of alternatives to straight incarceration is a public
safety issue. Providing flexibility in sentencing for certain low-level, nonviolent
offenders helps lower recidivism, is cost
effective and protects the public. The
Commission’s action in this area amounts
to a very modest but important step in
the right direction.”

sentences and home or community

credit.”
Any amendments made by the
Commission to the guidelines are submitted to Congress on or before May 1 of
each year and become effective on Nov.1
if not disapproved by Congress. The
seven-member Commission is an independent agency of the judicial branch of
the federal government.
“NACDL’s positions on the proposed
amendments currently before the U.S.
Sentencing Commission reflect NACDL’s
commitment to more individualized sentencing in federal court,” Orr explained
after the hearing.
As the U.S. Sentencing Commission
reported the amendment on sentencing
alternatives has several key components.
First it informs courts that departures
from the guidelines may be warranted in
situations where an offender’s criminal activity is related to a treatment issue such
as drug or alcohol abuse or significant
mental illness and sentencing options
such as home or community confinement
or intermittent confinement would serve
a specific treatment purpose.
As part of the U.S. Sentencing
Commission input process, National
Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers
President Cynthia Hujar Orr testified
March 17, 2010, before the Commission
in Washington, D.C., on various proposed amendments to the sentencing
guidelines.
Secondly, the Commission voted to
increase the availability of alternative sentencing options in the guidelines’ sentencing table. This would allow alternatives
As the association reported, “Topics
covered include the nature and implementation of amendments concerning
offender characteristics relevant to downward departure determinations, alternatives to incarceration, factors considered
in the calculation of a person’s criminal
history score, as well as organizational
guidelines regarding compliance and
She added, “NACDL’s positions here
reflect its strong support for common
sense approaches to sentencing in the
U.S. that neither unnecessarily expend
society’s limited resources nor unduly tie
the hands of federal judges to craft an appropriate sentence.”

Teach Your Kids the Real Costs of Premarital Sex
Patt Saso
www.sasoseminars.com
My parents didn’t have this kind of discussion with me, but times are different
now. We can’t afford not to.
When I was in high school there were
five common sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and AIDS was unheard of.
Today, there are more than twenty-five
STDs and five are incurable.
Healthy sexuality is not just about the
act of sex. Sexuality embraces physical
and emotional aspects. This includes feelings, emotions, gender, sexual orientation,
intimacy and relationship building. It is
more than just sexual intercourse.
Start the Conversation
In a recent survey of high school
seniors only one out of three said that
their parents talked to them about issues
of sexuality. So if kids are not hearing it
from parents, where are they getting their
information?
What Kids Learn From the Media
Everyday our children are bombarded
with messages that sex is great, everybody’s doing it, and there are no consequences. Teens witness about 14,000
sexual encounters on television yearly.
Ninety-four percent of this sexual activity
is between unmarried couples.
Armed with that information, do you
want your children to learn about sexuality from the media?
If they aren’t learning from the media
they get information from their peers,
who get their information from the media. So start talking, parents.
What Makes it so Hard for Parents
to Talk?
One reason why we fail to talk about
sex is because we have no model. For
many of us our parents didn’t even broach
the subject.
Secondly, embarrassment. We are selfconscious and so are our teens. It can be
uncomfortable talking about issues of
sexuality.
Thirdly, fear. Some believe that by
discussing sexuality or by giving accurate
information about sex we are encouraging
kids to engage in it. Nothing could be
further from the truth.
How Much Influence Do Parents
Really Have?
More than you know. A national survey by the National Campaign to Prevent
Teen Pregnancy (NCPTP) found that
a parent’s influence is even stronger than
peers.
Teens reported that they were definitely
influenced by their friends’ opinions, but
when asked which forces were most influential, more stated parents than friends.
When parents were asked the same
question, they assumed they had less
influence. Half of the parents believed
friends had the greater influence.
Parents, Your Opinions Matter
You have a significant influence on your
teen’s attitudes about whether or not they
become sexually active. And here is what
you can do about it.
A Parent’s Guide to Talking to Your
Kids about Healthy Sexuality
1. Be clear about your values. Be
unambiguous about communicating what
is important to you. Society and youth
culture gives confusing messages about
the casualness of sex. Share your own
values and beliefs about sex and let them
know why you believe this.
2. Educate yourselves about the real
costs of teens having sexual intercourse.
Then educate your teen. Be prepared
by gathering accurate information from
books, the internet, or local community
programs.
3. Be honest and direct with the
information. Teach them what is really
at stake. Use teachable moments from
the media or TV to open up dialogue.
Empower your kids so that they can
make an informed decision about getting
involved sexually.
4. Talk, talk, talk. Hold on-going conversations about issues of sexuality and
sexual expression. Start early and be age
appropriate.
5. Create a home environment in which
your child feels safe coming to you when
they have a question or concern.
6. Be an anchor. Let your kids know
that if they make a regrettable decision,
you will be there to love and support
them. There is nothing in life that you
can’t get through together. Children need
this security.
7. Listen to your teenager. Be mindful
not to preach or lecture. It can close the
door on further communications.
Final Words of Wisdom
Parenting a teenager takes a tremendous amount of courage. And it takes
more than courage to raise a healthy
child. It requires us being there in ways
we never imagined.

Sex education is not just about preventing teen pregnancies and teaching
a scientific process. It is wholesome and
human. Sex is about sharing and making
love with your partner. And it is okay to
tell your child that you feel this way. It is a
healthy model.
Kids need guidance and want direction
from parents. If we share our values
and expectations, set appropriate limits,
and continue to dialogue about issues of
sexual expression, they are more likely to
choose not to have pre-marital sex.
If we give them no guidance, then they
have nothing to aim for.

The San Jose Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying
the man in this police sketch. Detective Anthony Fregger reports that on
April 8, 2010 at about 10 in the morning an 18 year-old victim was jogging

she passed the suspect who was walking on the trail. After passing the
suspect, he ran after her and caught up to her at the southwest corner of
Bollinger and Lawrence and attacked her. The victim screamed and fought
back freeing herself from the his grasp. The suspect then fled the scene on

Letter to the Editor
I am an avid reader of your
'FUGITIVE WATCH' and supporter of
local law enforcement. I will not hesitate
to criticize when it's due (as I did some
time back in a letter to you objecting to
an editorial where you criticized those
opposed to the now-passed 'health care
reform' bill).
Conversely, I feel compelled to convey
my satisfaction over the high quality of
your May, 2010 issue. I especially enjoyed
the "Tribute to Mom", "Sixteen Ways
to Encourage Your Child to Use Drugs",
the "Off the Mark" cartoon about super
heroes in real life, the article about 'Cinco
de Mayo', and the editorial on Mexican
drug wars, as well as 'In Memoriam' the
'Factoids' and 'Bustin' Up', as always.
In fairness though, I must point out a
factual error in the editorial on Mexican
drug wars: The NRA has very effectively
dispelled the argument that "Most of
the guns used by the cartels against the
military and police are bought legally and
illegally in American gun stores and then
smuggled into Mexico." They explain
the basis for this untruth, and I would
be very happy to do some research and
provide specific citations to support it, if
you will consider printing a correction to
the article.
As you know, our 2nd Amendment
rights are constantly under attack, especially here in California; so we need to be
extremely careful not to feed the propaganda mill that promotes the anti-legalfirearm argument. Most of the weapons
used by the Mexican cartels are already
illegal here, but that fact doesn't get in the
way of the incessant attack on our right to
defend ourselves.
In closing I would like to make a
suggestion: Include a regular (or semiregular) feature similar to "The Armed
Citizen", where you feature encouraging
stories of people who have saved a life, or
property, by having a firearm handy.
I thank you for listening and wish
you continued success in you honorable
endeavor. May God bless you.
Sincerely, Charles Tucker, San Jose.

Three Arrested for Multiple
Robberies
Police have arrested three people in
connection with 14 robberies and thefts
at Home Depot and Lowe’s stores in 10
Northern California cities beginning
in January, Antioch police Lt. Leonard
Orman said today.
Pittsburg residents Jesse Patrick, 31, his
sister Trista Peterson, 24, and Concord
resident Lester Burks, 27, are being held
in Contra Costa County jail on charges
stemming from one of the robberies.
Police plan to take the rest of the cases
to the Contra Costa County District
Attorney’s Office as soon as they get all
their evidence together, Orman said.In
most of the robberies, Patrick and Burks
allegedly entered the store, filled up a
shopping cart and headed for the garden
exit. When employees or customers tried
to stop them, Patrick sprayed them with
pepper spray, Orman said.
Peterson served as a getaway driver
in many of the robberies, but not all of
them, Orman said.
Nobody was seriously injured in any
of the robberies. In all, Orman said, the
group stole an estimated $8,338 of merchandise, mainly high-end tools.
After stealing the tools, the group allegedly brought them to a Bay Point man
known as “The Tool Guy,” who sold them
at flea markets in Stockton and San Jose,
Orman said.
Police have talked to “The Tool Guy”
and searched his residence, where they
allegedly found evidence of the operation,
but because of a medical condition, they
are waiting to arrest him until formal
charges are filed, Orman said.
Antioch police arrested Peterson in late
April during a traffic stop and found she
had an outstanding warrant. Patrick, who
is considered the primary aggressor in the
robberies, was arrested by Concord police
for allegedly assaulting someone with
pepper spray. Burks was arrested earlier
this month when police served a search
warrant at his residence, Orman said.
During interviews with police, Patrick
allegedly told investigators that he had
also carried out several other thefts that
he didn’t get caught for, Orman said.
The robberies happened at Home Depot
and Lowe’s stores in Antioch, Pittsburg,
Livermore, Union City, Lodi, San Jose,
Concord, Vacaville, Vallejo and Roseville.
Because they were committed in so
many different jurisdictions, it took police
a while to figure out that the same group
was responsible for all the robberies,
Orman said.
Antioch police have since been working
with all police departments involved in
the case and plan to file all the cases together in Contra Costa County Superior
Court.All three suspects have prior
criminal records, Orman said.

Missing Person: Virdell Green
The San Jose Police Department is investigating the disappearance of 46-yearold Virdell Green, Jr., of San Jose. Virdell
was reported missing by his employer on
Wednesday, May 5th 2010, after failing
to show for work in Santa Cruz on May
3rd 2010.
Virdell was last heard from on April
30th 2010 at 5:13 p.m. after leaving a
voice mail message for his current girlfriend. His car, a Black 2002 Jeep Liberty
sports utility vehicle, was located at his
ex-girlfriends house in San Jose later that
evening around 8:00 p.m., along with
keys and personal property. However,
Virdell was not seen parking the vehicle
by any witnesses; it is unknown who actually parked the vehicle at that location.
(Virdell Green and his ex-girlfriend have
a child in common and maintain contact
for that reason.)
Jesse Patrick
Virdell Green is also member of a local
musical group. Investigation revealed
Virdell Green failed to show for musical
performance engagements and band
rehearsal since April 30th 2010.
Family, friends, and coworkers have not
heard from Virdell, which is reportedly

uncharacteristic of him. He failed to call
his employer or band members to report
any planned absences, which is extremely
out of character for him.
Virdell is African-American, between
5’7” and 5’8” in height, between 170-180
lbs., black hair and brown eyes, and
known to wear prescription glasses and
earrings (unknown if ears are pierced).

“A Cop’s Sixth Sense”
I hear the nervousness as he calls out

I roll that way, thinking of what it

Each cop seems to build this sense.

Police Officer Brian Huff
Detroit Police Department
On Friday, May 7, 2010 Officer
Danny Benavides was killed when the
department airplane he was piloting
crashed. He was flying a Cessna 206 on
observation patrol for a speed detail near
Highway 78 when it went down about
9:30 am. The crash occurred in the desert
near Highway 78 and Split Mountain
Road, in Imperial County. Officer
Benavides had served with the California
Highway Patrol for 13 years and was
assigned to the Border Division Thermal
Air Operations Unit. Officer Benavides is
survived by his wife and daughter.
On Monday, May 3, 2010, Officer
Brian Huff was shot and killed at approximately 3:30 am after responding to
a report of gunshots at a vacant home on
Schoenherr Street.
Several officers had surrounded the
home, which was known to be a drug
house, in response to the initial 911 call.
When Officer Huff, and the other officers
who were positioned in the front of the
home, made entry, they were immediately
met with gunfire.
Officer Huff was fatally shot and four
other officers were wounded. The suspect
was also shot and wounded by the return
gunfire.
Officer Huff was the first officer to be
killed in the line of duty in five years. He
is survived by his wife and 10-year-old
son.
Sheriff ’s Deputy
Brian Lamar Mahaffey
Rockdale, Georgia County
On Saturday, May 8, 2010, Deputy
Brian L. Mahaffey was shot and killed as
he and other deputies were following up a
rape, aggravated assault, and kidnapping
investigation at a residence.
Deputies were searching the the house
when Mahaffe opened the closet door in
the master bedroom. The suspect was
hiding inside the closet and immediately
started shooting from within the closet.
Deputy Mahaffey was struck by one
round below his vest. Deputies returned
fire and killed the man later identified as
Terry Lewis Brown.
I black out as I roll up on my partners’
patrol. Cover now my job, as we contact
the driver, now on parole.
He’s nervous and sweating, seems up
to no good. A computer check reveals
he’s banned from this “hood.”
Re-approaching the car, red and blue
flashes off my gold star. We ask him to
step out, not sure what he’ll do, not sure
what may be in the car.
I maintain my cover position as my
partner asks, “what brings you down
here, what mission, what tasks?”
The man stutters, keeps looking back
at his car. With consent, I search the
sedan, I then find a .45 kahr.
Safety off, hollow-point in the chamber, This man’s looking for his soon to be
ex-wife and filled full of anger.
The man is arrested, thanks to a cop
tried and tested. To listen to that sixth
sense, that’s how bad guys get arrested!

and judgement. We believe Jeff can bring back the integrity the district attorney’s office must have. He is a candidate that has the judgment that the
average citizen can trust to make the right decisions in the interest of justice.

School Security : Gun Violence on Campus
by Chris E McGoey, CPP, CSP, CAM
Guns, children, and school should
never be used in the same sentence.
But over the last few years a trend has
emerged causing the media to report
incidents of gun violence in our schools.
This has got to stop! The question is how
do we stop it?
A knee-jerk response like “ban all the
guns” is an over simplification of a more
complex problem. It has been reported
that in the United States guns are manufactured at a rate of about 18,000 per day
and have an estimated life of about 400
years each. It should be no surprise then,
to learn that in the United States there
are more guns than there are adults. To
think or believe that guns can be removed
from every home in America is illogical,
especially since our Constitution specifically guarantees our right to bear arms.
In all fairness, however, the writers of our
Constitution, over 200 years ago, were
probably thinking about citizens having a
slow-loading, single-shot Musket for civil
defense against invaders. They could not
possibly foresee the use of assault weapons at school and mass murder.
Another common solution offered is
to control the public and private sale of
guns. These regulations would further
limit private sales to minors, prohibit
sales of certain automatic weapons, and
cause more registration of guns. All these
methods may have some impact on the
availability of guns in the future and
will undoubtedly help the police locate
more gun owners. Unfortunately, more
laws and regulations tend to open up the
black-market where gun transactions will
continue to flourish illegally. All we have
to do is look at our existing drug laws and
our failed attempt at liquor prohibition to
see that legislation is a slow process and
has definite limitations.
Declining Crime Rate
Although gun violence is in the spotlight because of the recent pattern of
school shootings, the violent crime rate
and criminal incidents involving guns
has been declining over the past several
years. Arguably, gun violence should be
increasing almost exponentially based on
the number of guns in existence and the
number of new guns being manufactured
year after year.
The question of how to stop gun violence on campus may best be understood
by looking at the connection between
“where” the incidents occur, “who” is
committing them, “who” are the intended
victims, and “why”. The most common
thread is the location…our high schools
and middle schools. The second pattern
that has emerged is that the perpetrators
are also students. The third pattern is
that the shooters were male and to varying degrees not apart of the mainstream
school social structure.
Copycat Crimes
Why this level of violence continues
to occur at schools, as opposed to some
other place, is obvious. The first school
shooting created media frenzy and the
offending students became infamous.
The massive media blitz creates a sick
notoriety for those who want to make
a statement by the massacre of fellow
students. Clearly, a “copycat” game is now
in play. Unfortunately, others may decide
that they want to beat the record and get
a higher body count. Aside from the media, it seems that the Internet is playing a
role in spreading the word about violence,
hate, and guns. For the first time in our
history, anyone on the Internet can learn
how to make a bomb or communicate
anonymously with hate groups, or with
terrorists.
I predict this sick copycat trend will
pass and the period will be recorded as a
dark time in our history. What is needed
now is increased awareness, both at home
and at school. Parents, teachers, and students need to communicate about the underlying issues and everyone needs to pay
attention for the telltale signs of violence.
Evidence of the potential for violence is
often found in a student’s home, on their
computer, in their notebooks or in their
locker at school.
Are Video Games to Blame?
Violent video games, like the firstperson-shooters, may have influenced the
mindless and surreal concept of randomly
shooting students. At no other time in
history could a young person have sat
for hours in front of a video monitor and
simulated the massacre of hundreds
people (or aliens) using
a highpowered
arsenal of
weapons.
This form
“electronic
entertainment” does
not represent
reality
because there
are no consequences after
pulling the
trigger. Graphic
shooter video
games teach the
player to seek
out and destroy
everything in their
path while displaying the blood and
guts in vivid color,
3-D, and with stereo sound effects. It
is not surprising that
a few of these video shut-ins may begin to
fantasize about shooting other students
they believe have tormented or shunned
them while at school.
How to Stop guns on Campus
Sure, we can make it more difficult to
bring guns onto campus. But this will
come at a cost of personal freedom. We
can build a fortress-like school with
higher fences, lock more doors, close the
campus, install magnetometers and x-ray
machines, and conduct pat downs and
random locker searches. The problem is
that the student violence could simply
move to another public gathering place
like a movie theater, a shopping mall, or a
restaurant.
When someone is carrying a gun at
school, usually other students will know,
but won’t say anything…that needs to
change. Many times parents will observe
a negative change in behavior of their
children, but won’t inquire or investigate
the suspicious activity…that needs to
change. Many parents allow their children
to surf the web everyday, without knowing how to supervise their activity…this
may be our greatest challenge. Teachers
are our messengers and have the forum
to promote discussions about the social
and moral impact of hate, violence, guns,
and computer video games…that subject
needs to be incorporated into the mainstream curricula.
For now, our students need more social
awareness, parental interaction, and protection by our existing laws. For the long
term, our society needs to figure out how
to deal with the availability of guns, how
to handle the programming content on
the Internet, in violent video games, and
in movies. Children are our future and we
need to help them find a balance between
the rapidly changing technology and with
traditional social values.

Why do they call it a TV set when you only have one? Christmas - What other time of the year do you sit in front of a dead

Why is it that we drive through a parkway, and park in a driveway?
Why do they put the little “on/off ” words on a light switch? If the light’s on, you can

Phony cop pulls over real cop
A Parma, Ohio man thought it would be fun to play “let’s pretend,” as in let’s pretend
to be a police officer. According to Cleveland police, the man put a flashing blue light
on the dash of his car and pulled over a female motorist. Unfortunately for him, the
woman turned out to be a detective with the Cleveland Police Department. She called
for backup and our friend from Parma was quickly arrested. Police found a gun and a
stolen police radio in his car. He was charged with carrying a concealed weapon and
impersonating a police officer.
ATTORNEY: How was your first marriage terminated?
