Express 1 Hour Snowmobile tour from Reykjavík & Gullfoss
We will pick you up from Reykjavík and take the fast route to Langjökull glacier,
making a short stop at our rafting base camp and Gullfoss waterfall before
entering the Icelandic Highlands. Arriving at our snowmobile glacier base camp
our specially trained glacier guides will then show you how to safely operate the
snowmobiles on the glacier before going for a great one-hour tour on Langjökull
glacier. Langjökull is Iceland’s second biggest glacier; it is several enormous
ice filled volcanic craters, rimmed in by imposing volcanoes and set in the
breathtaking Icelandic interior. The views from the flanks of the Langjökull glacier
are quite staggering. The Glacier Ride is a scenic and fun glacier tour, available
every day during summer.
Details:
Includes a pick up from Café Gullfoss or your accommodation in Reykjavík,
snowmobile & snowsuits. Duration of trip: 3-4 hours to/from Café Gullfoss (1
hour of snowmobiling), 8 hours to/from Reykjavík. Age limit: 10 years (as a
passenger). Bring with you: Warm outdoor clothing and hiking boots. We will
lend you all the necessary equipment i.e snowsuit and more. Required: A valid
driving license to drive the snowmobile.
Not included: food or drinks.
How to get there by car:
Meeting at the Gullfoss Café upper parking lot, guaranteed departures start from
there everyday at 12:30.

In einem Super-Jeep geht es direkt zum Gletscher Langjökull,
welcher ungefähr 2 Stunden entfernt ist. Sobald wir am
Gletscher angekommen sind, geben wir euch eine Sicherheitseinführung und erklären die Benutzung der Motorschlitten. Wir gehen
auf eine einstündige berauschende Motorschlittenfahrt über endlos
weite Schneeflächen. Über die Eisfelder zu rasen ist eine großartige
Möglichkeit die riesigen Gletscher Island zu entdecken.
