den ab gepassten Teppich mit unterschiedlichen Stoffen
und farbenfrohen Ziernähten in den Mittel punkt.

Ridolfo for the e xisting Fascination Collection, the Vorwerk company presented its new Selected Rugs collection of borders at the Domotex fair in Hannover. It puts
the f itted c arpet with dif ferent f abrics and c olourful
decorative stitching into the focus.

Mit Hilf e der O xidation hat Jür gen Dahl manns f ür
seine Pine Garden Kollektion traditionelle Teppichmuster
ins 21. Jahrhundert übertragen. Für sein aktuelles Projekt
„Intimacy Berlin“ besucht der studierte Architekt mit dieser und anderen Kreationen die Wohnungen von Berliner
Freunden. Das entstehende F otoprojekt p räsentiert d ie
handgeknüpften Teppiche in einem realen Wohnumfeld.
With the help of oxidation, Jürgen Dahlmanns transferred
traditional carpet patterns into the 21st century for his Pine
Garden Collection. For his current Intimacy Berlin project,
he visits the flats of Berlin friends with this and other creations. The r esulting photo graphy pr oject pr esents the
hand-knotted carpets in an actual living environment.

bestehen aus der recycelten Polyamidfaser E conyl. Zur
Verfügung stehen 33 Farbschattierungen – von neutralen
Basistönen bis hin zu leb endigen Farben. A uf Wunsch
werden die strukturierten, richtungsfrei verlegten Fliesen
passend zum individuellen Farbkonzept eingefärbt.
The carpet tiles of the Infini Colors Collection by french
manufacturer Balsan consist of the recycled polyamide
fibre Econyl. There are 33 different shades – from neutral basic tones to lively colours. If requested, the structured, non-directionally installed tiles c an be dyed to
match the individual colour concept.

Incati is the name of the brand of modular carpet tiles
by Belgian manufacturer Tapibel. The Zamba tile with a
measurement of 50 by 50 centimetre with fine stripes is
available in six different colour variants. Combined with
the single-c olour tiles f rom the c ompany, the y c an b e
used to add accents or to zone areas.

Katarina Evans and Katarina Brieditis love to create. For
their c olourful R e Or ient desi gn c rocheted f rom r emnants of T-shirts, they took their inspiration from oriental models as well as from the Röllakan rugs typical of
their home country of Sweden.

of swiss manufacturer Mischioff. For the Circlism Collection, Dani Misio f ocused on the c ircle: 2,500 c ircles
knotted of wool and silk make up one of the c urrently

dyeing, the Iranian Zollanvari family company succeeded
in creating a partic ularly environment-friendly variant in
the production of silk rugs. Due to this process, the traditionally hand-knotted creations with a modern design are
furthermore looking even more intensive and shinier.

Collection. Wool f rom the hi ghlands of Tibet, delic ate

40 shades of green made from natural colours form the
various nuances in the thicket of the forest.

Designerin Kavi eine vielseitige Teppichkollektion Knoten

Seide von Hand g eknüpft sieht b eispielsweise der
Teppich Kras einer zerknitterten Folie täuschend ähnlich.

Indian carpet manufacture Jaipur Rugs based in R ajasthan, designer Kavi created a r ug collection by developing it k not-by-knot on the c omputer. Subse quently
hand-knotted f rom wool and silk , the K ras c arpet, f or
instance, looks deceptively like crumpled foil.
