“Best of the Alps” is a consortium of twelve classic Alpine
tourist resorts in France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany and
Austria. All twelve are world-famous and immensely popular for their time-honoured structures, their connection to
the local culture and their harmonious mixture of ancient
tradition and gentle progress. In this respect “Best of the

While they are each very different, the “Best of the Alps”
destinations have one thing in common: they are all
situated in breathtaking mountain scenery, which acts
as a backdrop for unique natural experiences in both
winter and summer. They are surrounded by delightful
meadows, lofty mountain ranges and mythical peaks
such as Mont Blanc, the Matterhorn or the Dolomites.
With floral Alpine pastures in summer and snowy
splendour in winter, the natural beauty of the “Best of
