numbers! It is used for opening times, train
times or the starting time of an event.
09:30 neun Uhr dreißig

23:00 dreiundzwanzig Uhr
Add the word Uhr between the hour and
the minutes to show “o’clock”.

Pay attention to words such as
geöffnet (open) and geschlossen
(closed) so you give the correct
information.
montags means on Mondays, so
make sure you point this out to the
visitor.
Try to add adjectives to make places
sound interesting to a visitor. Adding
gut (with the correct ending) in
eine gute Kunstgalerie shows the
examiner you know how to handle
German grammar.
And using fabelhaft (fabulous) and
wunderbar (wonderful) makes a
refreshing change from the overused
toll, klasse or super. Check you have
given the times correctly using the
24-hr clock and von … bis (from …
till).
