CODELLO steht für Tücher und Schals, die Trends setzen. Jede Saison entstehen neue Unikate
– immer mit der typischen Handschrift. Echt und einzigartig. Gegründet 1928 in München
von dem Italiener Rinaldo Codello und im Jahr 1986 von Heinz und Annelie Schnabl übernommen, hat sich das Familienunternehmen bis heute einen Namen als Anbieter feinster Schals
und Tücher gemacht. Kompromisslose Qualität, gewährleistet durch die Verwendung feinster
Rohstoffe wie Seide oder Kaschmir und Vertrauen in die eigene Leidenschaft sind damals wie
heute der Antrieb für immer wieder neue Kreationen und Innovationen.
Sky and light were the essential sources of inspiration for the CODELLO spring / summer
collection 2013. This is evident in a broad range of rainbow colours, in light sky blues, nuanced
tints, washes and gradients as well as prints that evoke Impressionist aquarelles and watercolours.
Weightless materials such as fine silk range alongside airily floating modal and summery cotton
and linen.
CODELLO stands for trend-setting scarves and neckpieces. Unique pieces are produced for
each new season – always true to the CODELLO signature style. Authentic and exceptional.
Founded in Munich in 1928 by Italian-born Rinaldo Codello and taken over in 1986 by
Heinz and Annelie Schnabl, the family business has become synonymous with fine scarves
and neckpieces. Uncompromising quality, guaranteed by use of high-end raw materials such as
silk or cashmere, as well as confidence in the personal passion invested in CODELLO infuse
constantly new creations and innovations.

Der Punk-Look vergangener Saisons erfährt im Thema „Rainbow Rocker“ ein süßes Update
mit Pastelltönen, Farbverläufen, Neons und Comicprints. Die Kollektion präsentiert sich jung,
rockig, individuell, aber dennoch sehr feminin und tragbar. Neue, softe Nuancen treffen auf
Sterne, Skulls und Kettenmotive.
The punk look of bygone seasons undergoes a sweet update with the „Rainbow Rocker“
theme – including pastel tones, colour gradients, neons and cartoon prints. The collection has
a young, individual rock feel and yet remains very feminine and wearable. New soft nuances
mingle with stars, skulls and chain motifs.

CODELLO starts into the coming season with the „Neo Baroque“ theme and puts classic
scarf motifs and ornamental patterns at its core. They merge playfully with sporty stripes,
dots and monochromes, creating decidedly modern looks. These are exemplary for the
mix & mash strategy, which combines seemingly clashing patterns and themes to produce
unexpected moments.

Mit „Garden of Happiness“ bekommt man Lust auf Sommer, Sonnenschein und bunte
Blumenwiesen. Fotorealistische Natürlichkeit steht hier neben handgezeichneten Motiven aus
Flora und Fauna, reiche Allovers fügen sich harmonisch zu bildhaft gestalteten Seidencarrés.
Die Motive sind so vielfältig wie die Natur selbst: Blumen, Blüten, Gräser, Schmetterlinge und
Libellen - allesamt in den Farben des Sommers. Pink und Lime stehen neben Himmelblau
und klarem Weiß.
The „Garden of Happiness“ gets us into the mood for summer, sunshine and flowery
meadows. Natural-looking photorealism is paired with hand-drawn flora and fauna motifs.
Rich allover print harmonises with vivid silk carrés. Motifs are as diverse as nature herself:
flowers, petals, blades of grass, butterflies and dragonflies – all of these in the colours of
summer. Pink and lime meet with sky blue and clear white.

On the occasion of Valentine’s Day in February, CODELLO also presents a special capsule
collection named „Valentine“. It comprises many scarves of different sizes which deliver
personal messages and kind thoughts. They are designed to become precious keepsakes and
special gifts – for loved ones or for individual use. Hand-drawn hearts, roses and Eiffel Towers
decorate fine silk and modal scarves and emphasise this line’s unique character.

den Eisdielen und Candyshops der 50er Jahre entnommen und reichen von pudrigem Rosé
bis hin zu frischem Mint. Weitere Zutaten sind Plissee und gedruckte Spitze, garniert mit
sommerlich leichten Sorbetfarben. Kontraste in Schwarz und Weiß setzen Akzente und fangen
die zarten Pastellnuancen auf. Eine Ikone der Zeit, Marilyn Monroe, ist Leitfigur und zentrales
Printmotiv dieses Themas.
The „Candy Shop“ line comes with a clearly more feminine touch. The theme’s colours were
inspired by the ice-cream parlours and candy shops of the 1950s and range from powdery
rosé to fresh mint. Further ingredients are pleats and lace prints, garnered with summery
light sorbet tones. Contrasting black and white accentuate the designs and counterbalance
the sweet pastel nuances. A style icon of her time, Marilyn Monroe, is the central figure and
print motif for this theme.

The greatest highlight of the CODELLO spring/summer collection 2013 are the Peanuts.
Inspired by the motto „Peanuts ... somewhere over the Rainbow“, Snoopy and his friends will
spend the season skipping across rainbows and traversing the skies with the help of balloons.
In keeping with CODELLO’s mission, this capsule collection is meant to bring a dash of poetry
to everyday life and to enrich our world with colours, prints and new ideas.

das ist die CODELLO men Kollektion Frühjahr/Sommer 2013.
Strong prints, soft colours, cool washes and luminous accentuation –
CODELLO presents its men’s collection spring/summer 2013.
Im Frühjahr 2013 dominiert bei den Herren eine neue, leichte Farbigkeit aus abgewandelten
Nuancen von Primärfarben wie Bleu, Lime und rostigem Rosé. Dazu kommen Akzente in
Neongrün, -blau oder -orange - mal als gewebte Streifen im Rand, mal als kontrastierende
Paspeln oder farblich abgesetzte Nähte. Allgegenwärtig sind zudem Neutraltöne wie helles
Taupe, Lichtgrau, Olive, Navy, Weiß und Schwarz. In dieser neuen Farbzusammenstellung
erfahren Klassiker wie Streifen, Karos und Paisley ein modisches Update.Tupfen, Punkte, Streifen,
Skulls und Sterne ergänzen die Reihe der Printmotive. Im Zusammenspiel mit besten Qualitäten
und Veredlungstechniken wie Boilen, Crushen und Färben verlieren diese ihren plakativen
Ausdruck und machen die einzelnen Styles zu coolen und smarten Begleitern.
In spring/summer 2013, a new, light colourfulness dominates the men’s looks – never too
sweet of course. Modified nuances of primary colours such as bleu, lime and rusty rosé
play an important role. They are accentuated by contrasting neon green, blue and orange –
whether as a woven fringe, piped edge or coloured seam. Another key feature are neutral
tones such as light taupe or grey, olive, navy, white and black. These entirely new colour
combinations provide classic stripes, check and paisley with a modern update. Large and small
polka dots, skulls and stars complete the range of print motifs. In combination with top-range
fabrics and processing such as boiling, crushing and dying, these patterns lose their boldness.
The resulting styles represent cool and smart accessories.
Die CODELLO men Frühjahr/Sommer Kollektion 2013 präsentiert sich zu drei Lieferterminen: Dezember, Januar und Februar. Zum Saisonstart stehen in einer Capsule Kollektion
Charaktere der Marvel Retro Comics neben Peanuts und Snoopy.
The CODELLO men spring/summer collection 2013 is available on three delivery dates:
December, January and February. At the start of the season, a capsule collection presents
Marvel Retro cartoon characters next to Snoopy and the Peanuts characters.
Die Kollektion für Januar präsentiert sich sehr modern, klar und sportiv. Sowohl die Sportswear
als auch rockige Einflüsse standen als Inspiration für dieses Thema Pate.
January’s men’s collection sticks to this principle and appears very modern, clear and sporty.
Rock and sportswear influences provide inspiration for this theme.
Die dritte Kollektion wird ab Februar erhältlich sein. Dieser Liefertermin erinnert an Safari,
Steppe und orientalische Länder. Zentrales Muster ist das klassische Paisley, das in Kombination
mit Streifen und Punkten, gedruckt auf natürlichem Leinen und veredelt durch Überfärben
und Crushen an Modernität gewinnt.
The third men’s collection will be available from February onwards. This order date takes us
on a safari, into the steppe and into the orient.Very central to this theme are paisley patterns,
which are modernised in combination with stripes and spots, by printing on natural linen and
by overdye and crush finishes.
