Vorelli’s
asual waterfront dining at its best, the
Surf Restaurant, affectionately called “the
Surf Club,” at the foot of MacMillan Pier
on Lopes Square, offers a classic Cape
Cod dining experience. Feast on lobster, clams, baked
and grilled fish in the inside dining room or outside on
their waterfront deck. Other featured specialties are
Bouillabaisse and the famous “Portuguese Clambake,”
which includes a 1 1/2 pound lobster, clams and
Portuguese sausage in a red sauce. Or try the PotatoCrusted Cod with a garlic-parsley sauce. In the
orelli’s offers casual fine dining in an
atmosphere of antique stained glass and
artwork by local artists throughout the
restaurant. This handsomely designed
traditional steak house is known for its aged angus
beef. Vorelli’s takes steak seriously — thick and juicy
and grilled to perfection. They serve Filet Mignon,
Steak Diane, 16 oz. Rib Eye and Steak au Poivre. The
seafood dishes are equally as tantalizing — Butter
Poached Lobster, Grilled Red Snapper, Jumbo Sea
Scallops, Grilled Salmon, plus fresh oysters and clams
from our waters. The Seafood Tetrazzini has been a
favorite for years. Have a seat at the oak bar and enjoy
the renowned Bloody Mary, made from Vorelli’s houseinfused vodka and considered by many to be the best in
the world. Lunch is served from 11:30 a.m. and dinner
from 5:30 p.m.
afternoon, enjoy a drink outside on the harborfront
deck, listening to a jazz band while you watch the
sun set over the bay. It’ll make you feel like you’re on
vacation! Casual and delicious, everybody is welcome
at Surf Club. Hours: 11 am-10 pm daily.

T
he Provincetown Art Association and Museum’s mission is to cultivate the practice and appreciation of
the fine arts and promote arts education. To that end it offers an exquisite range of exhibitions year-round,
from student and members shows to special exhibitions like Art of the Garden (through July 12), Search
for the Real: Hans Hofmann and his Students (Aug. 7-Oct. 11) and more. It also offers a host of weekly
classes throughout the summer at The Museum School. The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod awarded its Collaborative
Arts Project of the Year Award to PAAM for its Youth Education Program for Student Curating in 2008. PAAM’s
recent renovation received a 2006 American Institute of Architects Merit Award for Design Excellence, and it received
recognition by AIA’s 2007 Committee on the Environment. The U.S. Green Buildings Council awarded PAAM a
Silver LEED rating — the first American art museum to be certified by the USGBC, and this spring PAAM was awarded
accreditation by the American Association of Museums. For a line-up of this season’s exhibitions, programs and classes

The Provincetown Theater
238 Bradford St., Provincetown • 508-487-7487
S
ince June of 2004, The Provincetown Theater has provided a permanent home for theater performances in
a town that boasts a great history of American playwrights. This summer Counter Productions is mounting
three shows at the theater, including “Take Me Out,” opening July 8, “Gross Indecency,” opening July 24,
and the musical “City of Angels,” opening Aug. 2. The house theater group, the New Provincetown Players,
produces plays and festivals, readings, and literary conferences. As an integral part of its mission, the New Provincetown
Players is committed to fostering development of new work by established and emerging playwrights with its Spring and
Fall Playwrights’ Festivals. The theater has the capacity to seat 180 people under special circumstances but normally
performs with a 130-145 seat capacity depending on show requirements. The lobby can accommodate up to 90 people
standing and features a full bar. It also provides performance space for individual producers, community groups, service
and performing arts organizations. Conference and retreat rental packages are available; special rates are available for
nonprofits and community organizations. Visit the website www.provincetowntheater.org.
