What should
I talk about?
www.osugreeks.com/pha
Good Questions to Ask
What service events does your chapter have throughout the year?
What is your favorite memory as a member of your chapter?
How did you feel when you joined your chapter?
What financial obligations does you chapter have?
Why did you choose your chapter?
What programming does your chapter offer its active members and
new members?
Do not be afraid to ask your questions to specific chapters, our
Greek women are happy to answer them. Being an informed PNM is
the best way to find the perfect fit for you!
www.osugreeks.com/pha
Topics to Avoid
Alcohol and Partying
For sorority women, this is rarely a topic of focus or great importance. They
would rather tell you about what it means to be a member of their chapter,
how they serve their community, or most importantly, learn even more about
YOU!
Political Views
While politics is a very hot topic, it will not make for the best recruitment
conversation. PHA respects the diversity of the women who make up the
council, and recommends against debating about political views.
Boys, Men, Guys
When joining a sorority you are gaining many new friendships through the bond
of sisterhood. It is best to spend your times during your rounds discussing
more in-depth subjects than the male gender so you can confidently decide
which women could be your best friends.
Overall, use your common sense!

The
Selections
Process
www.osugreeks.com/pha
The Mutual Selection Process
Selections will always be done in Central Classrooms
The selections process occurs after EVERY round/day of recruitment and is required
of all PNMs. Go to the room assigned to your Recruitment Guide group and she will assist you if you
have any questions.
Then you will go to the computer lab room 311 to put your selections into the computers.
Leave extra time in your schedule for the selection process.
Dates and Times
Saturday, January 9th: You will rank all 14 chapters, indicating 10 you like the most.
Sunday, January 10th: You will rank all the chapters you visited during House Tour
Round., indicating 6 you like the most.
Saturday, January 16th: You will rank all the chapters you visited during Philanthropy
Round, indicating 3 you like the most.
Sunday, January 17th: You will rank all chapters visited during Preference Round. The
first chapter you choose is your number one choice for the chapter that you’d like to

We realize that staying healthy is important, so if
you feel uncomfortable with hand shaking you can
just wave
Chapters are aware of this practice and the
women will just wave back :)
All of the Chapters and Recruitment Guides have
hand sanitizer, so feel free to ask for some or
bring your own!
