A Dam Good Time
Location: Boulder City, NV
Guests depart from the MGM Grand with a knowledgeable and
experienced tour guide for a modern civil engineering wonder of
the world, Hoover Dam soars over 726 feet; it’s the dam that
tamed the mighty Colorado River. The tour includes an overview
and history, visiting the Exhibit Gallery, Observation Deck and
Power Plant. After the tour, we suggest having lunch at Boulder
Dam Brewing Company. A museum in itself, the Brewery features
décor and fixtures from the 1930’s silent films made during dam
construction as well as equipment used for construction. Lunch
includes (3) 5 ounce beer samples in a souvenir mug and pub
dishes with more quality time with your personal tour guide.
