Moroso / Laura Aquili & Elgian Alberg
Moroso / Nipa Doshi & Jonathan Levien
Movement and dynamism are the main characteristics of the Vertigo side table, by Laura Aquili and Elgian
Alberg, entirely in Corian® Glacier White. Vertigo contains a strong conceptual abstraction, where the shape
evolves in a calibrated rotation until it reaches a perfectly balanced harmony. A challenge to the potential
offered by the material and to the use of technology, where rotation, incision and folding are all applied to a
sheet of Corian®. Design: Laura Aquili & Elgian Alberg.
With the work of Nipa Doshi (India) and Jonathan Levien (United Kingdom), designers who base their work
on the mixing of cultures, Moroso introduces Chaupar, a side table with a top in Corian® Glacier White and
decorated (through sublimation) displaying icons of the Indian culture: an object embedding different
cultural and material messages. Design: Nipa Doshi and Jonathan Levien.
