As you may well know David and Tamela; better known as “The Browns” are not only speakers and actors but singers, that have a resume' that most wouldn't expect. Ridiculously talented, the illustrious actor has written, directed, and produced numerous plays including the stage play hit "I Can Do Bad All By Myself" where David remarkably immortalized the intrusively nosey, wisecracking, ashy‐kneed, and outrageously funny neighbor "Mr. Brown." Touring and recording with Kirk Franklin and The Family, she was a featured soloist on tracks like “Now Behold the Lamb” and the Grammy‐nominated (for Song of the Year) “Lean On Me,” which featured Mary J. Blige, Crystal Lewis, R. Kelly and Bono. Her explosive versions of “Father Can You hear Me” and “Take It to Jesus” are included on the soundtrack album of Diary of a Mad Black Woman. After making her solo recording debut in 2004 with Gotta Keep Movin’, she recorded the concert CD/DVD The Live Experience at Calvary Church in Dallas, which featured exciting new arrangements of the songs. A Top 20 Billboard Gospel Chart hit, this album earned Tamela 2008 Stellar Award nominations for Female Vocalist of the Year and Contemporary Female Artist of the Year. The gospel play stars David Mann and his multi‐talented wife Tamela Mann, fondly known as the giggly, powerhouse songstress, Cora. Divinely gifted and humorously creative, David Mann's musical and theatrical talents brilliantly epitomize ingenuity at its best. When David and Tamela are not on tour, they enjoy the restful company of their four fun‐loving children and grandchildren. The show will consist of David Mann with his hilarious comedy show and his wife Tamela Mann in live concert. Also appearing on this show will be husband and wife duo, Angelo and Veronica of Nashville, TN.
