In an effort to provide the best education possible, Cynthia Mann Elementary also considers the class size, ratio of boys to girls, student abilities, special needs, and personalities of students and teachers. If you have a specific input regarding your child's educational needs that will help us make an optimum placement, please put it in writing and turn it into the office by April 20th, 2015. Please understand that the input received will be given careful consideration but can not be guaranteed. SBAC Testing for Grades 3-6 Beginning Tuesday, April 7th - Friday, May 8th Cynthia Mann students in grades 3-6 will participate in the Smarter Balances Assessment Consortium (SBAC) in Math and English Language Arts. Our students represented us well! Congratulations to the following: 2nd Place Overall in Problem Solving Samantha Jamison, Keith McGovern, and Alec Batten 3rd Place Overall in Problem Solving Kalena Danley, Curtis Simpson, Paisley Hansen, and Rosie Hill 1st Place In Action Plan Presentation Kalena Danley, Curtis Simpson, Paisley Hansen, and Rosie Hill 3rd Place in Action Plan Presentation Greta Yang, Tori Gidley, Isaac Myers, and Parker VanDam The following Students also participated: Owen Willerton, Ethan Solan, Ries Puddy, and Elijah Thibodeau’s. Drug Free Idaho & BSU are partnering together to offer a FREE parenting workshop at Collister Library on April 16th & 23rd. This class will entail how to deal with common parenting frustrations, how to detangle from power struggles with your child and how to develop a more satisfying relationship with your child.
