2011 NBPA ALL-STAR GALA SPONSORSHIP PACKAGE FEBRUARY 19, 2011 • LOS ANGELES For the past seventeen years, the NBA Players Association has hosted the premier event of NBA All-Star Weekend, the “NBPA All-Star Gala”. This “invitation only” event attracts the hottest names in sports and entertainment. T.I. Allen Iverson Mary J. Furthermore, All-Star Gala Presenting Sponsor will receive: 1. Twelve (12) tickets to the NBA All-Star Game which includes admission to the following weekend events: • NBA Slam Dunk Contest • Post-Game Party hosted by the NBA • Access to reserved sponsor seating for twelve (12) within gala. • One hundred and fifty (150) admission tickets to the NBPA All-Star Gala (past performers include: Jay-Z, T.I. , Mary J. Blige, Ludacris, Ja Rule, Wyclef Jean, Destiny’s Child, Snoop Dogg, Chaka Khan, Frankie Beverly and Maze, and the Gap Band). Twelve (12) “Red Carpet Credentials” for access to separate celebrity red-carpet entrance to the gala. 2. Corporate logo displayed on “step and repeat” banner in photo opportunity and interviewing media area. 4. Premium placement of one full page color advertisement in the NBPA All-Star Gala Program Journal to be distributed to guests of the gala and mailed to the home of every NBA Player. Premium placement shall include BACK COVER, INSIDE BACK COVER, INSIDE FRONT COVER, or two-page advertisement spread. 5. Opportunity for sponsor to run thirty (:30) second advertisement on screens while DJ sets are playing. 6. Branding opportunity to distribute promotional company “give aways” in NBPA gift bags to be handed out to every NBA Player attending the NBPA All-Star Gala or at the NBPA Swag Suite (if available). 7. Corporate name and logo on all printed materials, including invitations, “NBPA All-Star Gala, presented by__________”. 8. Verbal recognition at the gala by gala MC or host. 9. Ability for corporate representative to make brief remarks and have photo op with NBPA Executive Director Billy Hunter and NBPA President Derek Fisher at the NBPA All-Star Gala. All-Star Starter Sponsor: $60,000 ALL-STAR GALA STARTER SPONSORS will receive CATEGORY EXCLUSIVITY and will also receive a specified area on the floor of the gala to promote their product or service to many of the hottest names in sports and entertainment. Furthermore, All-Star Starter Sponsors will receive: 1. Four (4) tickets to the NBA All-Star Game which includes admission to the following weekend events: • NBA Slam Dunk Contest • Post-Game Party hosted by the NBA • Access to reserved sponsor seating for four (4) within gala. 2. Sixty (60) admission tickets to the NBPA All-Star Gala (past performers include: Jay-Z, T.I. , Mary J. Blige, Ludacris, Ja Rule, Wyclef Jean, Destiny’s Child, Snoop Dogg, Chaka Khan, Frankie Beverly and Maze, and the Gap Band). Four (4) “Red Carpet Credentials” for access to separate celebrity red-carpet entrance to the gala. 3. One full page color advertisement in the NBPA AllStar Gala Program Journal to be distributed to guests of the gala and mailed to the home of every NBA Player. 4. Opportunity for sponsor to run fifteen (:15) second advertisement on screens while DJ sets are playing. 5. Branding opportunity to distribute promotional company “give aways” in NBPA gift bags to be handed out to every NBA Player attending the NBPA All-Star Gala or at the NBPA Swag Suite (if available). 6. Corporate name and logo prominently displayed at event. 7. Listing as sponsor in invitation and all printed materials. Rookie Sponsor: $30,000 ROOKIE SPONSORS will NOT receive CATEGORY EXCLUSIVITY. They will receive a small specified “booth-sized” area within the gala to promote their product or service to many of the hottest names in sports and entertainment. Furthermore, All-Star Gala Rookie Sponsors will receive: 1. Two (2) tickets to the NBA All-Star Game which includes admission to the following weekend events: • NBA Slam Dunk Contest • Post-Game Party hosted by the NBA • Access to reserved sponsor seating for two (2) within gala. 2. Thirty (30) admission tickets to the NBPA All-Star Gala (past performers include: Jay-Z, T.I. , Mary J. Blige, Ludacris, Ja Rule, Wyclef Jean, Destiny’s Child, Snoop Dogg, Chaka Khan, Frankie Beverly and Maze, and the Gap Band). Two (2) “Red Carpet Credentials” for access to separate celebrity redcarpet entrance to the gala. 3. One full page color advertisement in the NBPA All-Star Gala Program Journal to be distributed to guests of the gala and mailed to the home of every NBA Player. 4.
