WHIN Nurse Team wins PBC Health
Department’s Star Award
During the past year a special health care team has increased revenue,
shown excellent internal customer service and lastly, but most importantly,
demonstrated true advocacy and caring for the women they serve in Palm
Beach County. Because they make a significant difference in improving
county residents’ lives, the Women’s Health Initiative Nursing Case
Management Team has been granted the Star Award by the Palm Beach
County Health Department. The WHIN Nursing Case Management Team
provides services in the Riviera Beach area – where twice as many black infants die before reaching
their first birthday than children of other ethnicities.
