Yummy Honey Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
• 2 oz/50 gm butter
• 1/4 cup sugar
• 2 eggs, beaten
• 1/3 cup honey
• 3 tbspn self raising flour
• 1 tbspn lemon juice (from bottled juice)
• 2 cups ricotta cheese (a common Italian dessert ingredient)
• 2 tbspn rum
Directions:
• Preheat oven to 360F/180C
• Melt butter in sauce pan over moderate heat. Add sugar.
• Stir to combine well. Take it off the heat immediately when the butter has melted.
• Stir till the mixture becomes thicker.
• Add in all the remaining ingredients.
• Combine well.
• Pour batter into a round silicone baking tray.
• Bake for 30 minutes.
• Allow to cool.
Tips:
1.Serve cooled with a sprinkling of cinnamon over the top.
2. As an option, serve this with fresh tart fruit like kiwi and strawberries with ice cream.
3. Rum seems to retain its liquor flavor, more so than brandy.
4. Using silicone baking trays means there's no fuss in having to grease and line baking trays.

Honey Baked Ham Recipe
Ingredients:
• 1.5kg boneless gammon joint
• 7-8 cloves
• Juice of 1 orange
• 50ml liquid honey
Directions:
1. Pre-heat oven to 200oC, 400oF
2. Place the gammon in a large saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring slowly to the boil then discard the water and
rinse the joint. Cover with fresh cold water and bring to the boil again. Reduce the heat and cover the pan then simmer
very gently for an hour.
3. Drain the gammon then carefully cut the skin off the joint and score the fat in a diamond pattern. Place the meat in a
small roasting tin and stud the top with cloves.
4. Mix the orange rind and juice with the honey and pour this over the joint, brushing the liquid over the sides as you do
so.
5. Bake for about 30-40 minutes or until the fat is golden brown. Baste the gammon frequently during cooking.
6. Serve hot or cold. If serving the joint cold, continue to baste it with the glaze as it cools.

Ingredients:
• 3 cups plain yogurt
• 1 cup chopped almonds
• 1 tablespoon honey
Direction:
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Chill it and serve with fresh cut-up assorted fruits such as strawberries,

Savoury Dip

Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup tomato sauce
• 1 teaspoon corn starch
• 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
• 1/4 cup honey

Direction:
Combine all ingredients and cook them in a saucepan for a few minutes. Allow mixture to boil and thicken while stirring it

Fruit & Nuts Flavor

Ingredients:
• ¼ cup soft butter
• 1 tablespoon peanuts/walnuts/other preferred nuts
• 1 tablespoon finely cut dried tropical fruits
• ½ cup cream honey
Direction:
• Stir and blend ingredients in a bowl. Mix well.
• Spread it on soft bread or biscuits.

Avocado Delight
Ingredients:
• 3 large, fully ripe avocados
• 1 tablespoon honey
• Half cup fresh low-fat cream
• Half cup fresh milk
• Raisins
Directions:
• Cut avocados in halves lengthways, remove seeds and reserve.
• Scoop pulp from shells and mash smoothly with a spoon.
• Add honey to taste and stir in the fresh cream, milk, and raisins.
Put into serving bowl, return seeds to the pulp, cover closely with plastic wrap and chill before serving. The seeds in the
puree are supposed to keep the avocado from discoloring. Make sure that the surface is protected from air by putting
the plastic on the surface of the mixture.

Kiddy Fruity Honey Smoothie
Ingredients:
* Half a banana
* 5 strawberries
* 250 grams plain yoghurt
* 2 teaspoon honey
* ice cubes
Directions:
• Cut up the banana into pieces and put them into a blender with the strawberries.
• Add yoghurt, honey and ice cubes.
• Blend the mixture to make a delicious, smooth, cool drink. Serves: 1

Honey Chinese BBQ Pork Recipe
Ingredients:
• 1 kilogram lean pork
• Seasoning: 2 clove Garlic – blended/ground, 1/2 tsp.five spice powder, 1 1/2
tblsp.soy sauce, 1/2 tsp.pepper, 1 tsp.salt
• 1 tblsp margarine
• 4-5 tblsp rose honey
Instructions:
1. Slice pork thinly and knock each slices to tenderise it.
2. Add seasoning, place pork slices ina container, and leave it in the fridge for at least 5 hours to marinade.
3. Arrange thin pieces of pork onto a flat plate to dry.
4. When dry, cut pork slices into squares of about 10 cm. 5. Barbecue the square pork slices with burning charcoal until
both sides are golden in colour.
6. Glaze the slices with honey from time to time.
7. Cooled barbecued slices can be stored in the refrigerator freezer for a few weeks.

Honey Peking Duck Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
• One 5 to 6 pound duck
• 8 cups water
• 1 ginger -- sliced
• 1 scallion, cut into halves
• 3 tablespoons of a lighter variety of honey e.g clover,
acacia, basswood and orange blossom
• 1 tablespoon white vinegar
• 1 tablespoon sherry
• 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch, dissolved in 3 tablespoons
water
• To make rolls: 1/4 lb scallions, cut into 24 piece, 5 tablespoon Hoisin sauce, 12 Mandarin crepes, 2 cucumbers,
peeled, halved
PREPARATION:
• Clean and remove the innards of the duck. Wipe duck dry and it in a cool, windy place for 4 hours.
• Fill large wok with water. Bring to boil. Add ginger, scallion, honey, vinegar, and sherry. Bring to boil. Pour in dissolved
cornstarch. Stir constantly.
• Place duck in large strainer above larger bowl. Scoop boiling mixture all over duck for about 10 minutes.
• Hang duck again in a cool, windy place for at least 6 hours until thoroughly dry.
• Place duck breast side up on a greased rack in oven preheated to 350 degrees. Set a pan filled with 2 inches of water
in bottom of oven to collect the drippings. Roast for 30 minutes.
• Turn duck and roast for 30 minutes more. Turn breast side up again. Roast for 10 minutes more until skin is crispy.
• To slice the duck, use a sharp knife, place it breast side up and cut downwards towards the head. Slice thinly. Use only
the outer slices-those which have skin. Slice both breasts. Slice the legs, cutting from the joint to the end of the leg.
Discard remaining meat or use it for another dish.
• Serve meat and skin immediately on a pre-warmed dish. Place all carved meat on platter, cover with skin pieces on
outside to make presentation look like a whole duck.
• Make rolls using the Mandarin crepes with the duck skin, cucumber, scallion, and hoisin sauce.

Sensational Oriental Honey Pickles Recipe
Ingredients
Pickling Syrup:
6-7 tablespoons of lemon juice (or 4-5 tablespoons of white vinegar if you
fancy stronger pickles, or go for mix of lemon juice and vinegar if you prefer.)
2 tablespoons of honey (I prefer a light, mild floral honey variety to a dark,
strong one in this case)
3-4 table spoons of water
2-3 teaspoons sea salt
Pickles:
1 small carrot
Half a small turnip
Half a cucumber
2 slices of Chinese cabbage
Half a slice of pineapple (not too ripe)
1-2 long red chillies
1 tablespoon roasted sesame seeds
1 tablespoon ground roasted peanuts (optional, forget it if you are cutting down on fats as much as possible.)
Note: It's hard to advise on the vegetables amount due to the odd sizes they come available. So, you might just have to
do some adjustment in terms of the amount of pickling syrup you have to prepare.
Directions:
1. Wash all vegetables.
2. Remove seeds from cucumber and chilli.
3. Cut carrot, turnip, cabbage, cucumber and chilli into thin strips of about 2 inches long.
4. Cut the pineapple into small thin sections.
5. Mix the pickling syrup, sesame seeds and peanuts into the vegetables and pack them into a glass jar.
6. Enjoy immediately or store in refrigerator to get "stronger" pickles!

Awesome Honey Pecan Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
¼ lb butter (this is about 115g)
1 Cup sugar
3 beaten eggs
½ Cup Karo syrup (a brand of corn syrup)
½ Cup honey
½ tsp vanilla
½ tsp lemon juice
1-2 cups of chopped or whole pecans (as you prefer)
1 pinch cinnamon
1 pinch nutmeg (optional, for a more exotic aroma)
9-inch uncooked pie shell
Instructions:
• Preheat oven to 325 degree Fahrenheit (or 160 degree Celsius).
• In a heavy-bottomed sauce pan, brown butter over medium high heat to
get a nice nutty aroma for the pie. Be careful not to burn it. Remove and
allow to cool slightly.
• In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar, eggs, syrup and honey. Using a
wire whisk, blend all ingredients well.
• Add the brown butter, lemon juice, vanilla and pecans. Season with
cinnamon and nutmeg. Continue to whip until all ingredients are well blended.
• Pour into pie shell and bake on center rack of oven for 45 minutes to an hour.
• Remove and allow to cool .

Pecan Pumpkin Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
2 large eggs
1/4 cup honey
1 cup evaporated skin milk
1 cup cooked pumpkin
11/2 teasoons pumpkin pie spice
1/4 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons orange juice concentrate
1/2 cup of choped pecans
1 large hand full of sweetened coconut flakes
Instructions:
• With electric mixer, beat eggs until foamy ( 1 minute ).
• Add honey,milk, pumpkin, spice, salt and orange juice.
• Put chopped pecans in the bottom of pie shell.
• Finish beating mixture until well blended.
• Pour pumpkin mixture into uncooked pie shell.
• Then add a large handfull of coconut flakes to pumpkin mixture in pie shell and lightly stir.
• Bake at 375 degrees F for 60 to 65 mintues or until knife inserted off center comes out clean.

Perfect Honey Pizza Recipe
Ingredients:
150g ham slices (cut into small 1inch by 1 inch squares)
5 slices of soft white bread
1-2 tablespoon of Fireweed, Rewarewa or Tawari honey to spread
10 tablespoonfuls shredded Mozarella cheese
3 tomatoes (chopped finely, drain away juice)
Dashes of mixed ground spices – sesame, oregano, basil, pepper, thyme, and
rosemary
Directions:
Spread honey on bread slices. Lay tomatoes pieces evenly on the bread, followed by ham squares. Spread cheese on
top and finish off by sprinkling the mixed spices. Place in the oven at 140 C degrees for 25-30 minutes.
Thai Honey Green Mango Salad Recipe
Ingredients:
1 small green mango
Half a green apple
1 red chilli
3 lemon leaves
5 shallots
5-6 Thai basil leaves for garnish
2 tbsp dried shrimp
1 tbsp roasted peanuts
Dressing:
1 tbsp fish sauce

½ tbsp lime juice
Method:
1. Skin and cut the mango into long strips. Chopp green apple into fine cubes.
2. Remove seeds from chilli and slice thinly.
3. Slice shallots thinly.
4. Wash and pound the dried shrimp finely. Fry it with a little oil until fragrant and dry.
5. Combine fish sauce, honey and lime juice.
6. Put all the ingredients into a large bowl, pour in the dressing.
7. Toss well and serve with basil leaves.
Serves 2 persons.

Exotic Grilled Honey Wings Recipe
Ingredients:
8 wings
8 wooden sticks
Marinate wings in:
5 cloves of garlic, crushed
5 ginger slices
1 teaspoon five spices powder
1 teaspoon of black pepper
2 teaspoons of salt
1 table spoon of soy sauce
1 teaspoon of dark soy sauce
1 table spoon of Macadamia Honey for marinating wings
1 egg
2 tablespoon Macadamia Honey for glazing during grilling
Instructions:
1. Straighten wings using wooden sticks for easy grill.
2. Marinate wings in crushed garlic, ginger slices, pepper, salt, soy sauce, Macadamia Honey and egg for at least 5
hours.
3. Grill wings in oven of 225 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes, then glaze each of them with Macadamia Honey using a
baking brush, grill for 10 minutes and turn over to the other side and glaze with honey before grilling for another 10
minutes.
4. Serve while sizzling hot!

A Wholesome Bread Recipe Using Honey
Honey Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
50g plain flour
220g bread flour
2 teaspoons instant dry yeast
10g milk powder
5g sea salt
1 tablespoon honey (here I choose to use cream
Pumpkin Honey)
30g butter
Half egg
125ml water
1 tablespoon Olive oil for greasing
Glazing
Half an egg (just take the remaining half required for the dough)
1 tablespoon milk
Optional: Half cup of raisins
Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a big bowl and stir mixture into a
dough. Spread some bread flour on the table to prevent
the dough from sticking and knead it with your fingers
for about 10 mins until its texture becomes soft and
smooth. Allow it to rise in room temperature (30C) for
30mins to 40mins until it doubles the original amount. (If
your weather is not as warm as mine, turn on the oven
to the lowest temperature for about 5 minutes to make a
warm place for rising.)
Flatten the dough, And if you like to make it more
exciting for the kids, add raisins on the flattened dough,

fold and roll it up. Cut the roll into small equal sections and roll each into an oval shape with the palm. Grease the baking
tin with olive oil. Rest all pieces on the tray for about 30mins to 40mins (second rising) until they become twice as big.
Slash the middle of each roll with a knife. Brush a layer of egg and milk glazing mixture over the top of each roll. (You
can sprinkle muesli flakes or sesame seeds on top as well to make the crust even crunchier.) Bake in a pre-heated
convection oven at 180C for about 15mins to 20mins. (No microwave oven, please.) Serve either hot or cool with butter
or honey butter spread.
Make Bread Using "Cup" Measurements
If you feel it's too big a hassle to prepare portions of ingredients in grams and ml, take my sister's "Chocolate Chip Honey
Bread Recipe". She has used my recipe and improvised it such that no weighing machines and measuring cups are
required. A cup is only what you need, very convenient!
Alternative Recipe using the same method as above:
Chocolate Chip Honey Bread Ingredients:
2 cups of bread flour
2 teaspoons instant dry yeast
1 tsb milk powder
1 tablespoon honey
1 tsb melted butter
1 egg (beaten and leave a little behind for glazing)
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon Olive oil for greasing
For glazing : ( egg & 1 tablespoon milk)
1/2 to 3/4 cup ( or as much as you like) choc chips
Baking Bread With Honey

Start baking bread using this healthy recipe -- makes a loaf enough for 4 -5 adults and no bread machine and required!
(Note: I had memorised and penned down all the verbal instructions on how to make this bread during a bread-making
demonstration class which I attended with my sister. This is really something taught by an expert; "tried and tested"!)
Raisin Honey Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
50g plain flour
(Plain flour can be replaced by ground oat bran which is a healthier choice but will result in more densely textured bread.)
220g bread flour
2 teaspoons instant dry yeast
10g milk powder
5g sea salt
1 tablespoon cream honey
30g butter
Half egg
125ml water
Half cup of raisins or dried cranberries, or mix the both
1 tablespoon olive oil for greasing
Glazing
Not only does this glaze gives a fantastic colour and texture for the loaf top, the crust it makes is simply awesome -crunchy and aromatic!

1/3 cup of muesli flakes or sesame seeds
Directions:
Baking bread can actually be quite fun, and the process can even be addictive. Your one-time success will motivate you
to go for the second, the second for the third, and so on.
Mix all ingredients in a big bowl and stir mixture into a dough. Spread some bread flour on the table (non-stick, e.g
plastic, marble, etc) to prevent the dough from sticking and knead it with your fingers (gathering and folding the ends of
the dough towards you and pushing it away and repeat the action again and again) for about 10 mins until its texture
becomes soft and smooth (the instructor described it as "baby's bottom") and when the dough would spring back when
lightly pressed with the finger. Form the dough into a ball and allow it to rise in room temperature (30C) for 30mins to
40mins until it’s double the amount. (Dough rises best when it's round and smooth!)
Flatten the dough. Spread raisins/cranberries on the flattened dough, fold and roll it up. Grease the baking tin with olive
oil. Rest the dough in the tin for about 30mins to 40mins (second rising) until they become twice as big.

Healthy Mushroom Recipe

Ingredients:
Five big leaves of lettuce
Brown mushrooms or portabello mushrooms, cut into broad strips
Sea salt to taste
A dash of black pepper
2 cloves of garlic, chopped fine
2 teaspoon of cooking oil
3 table spoons of balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon of honey
Directions:
1. To prepare fresh mushrooms, first trim off any hard bottom on the stems and knock off any sticky bits of dirt with a
damp kitchen towel. Then give them a quick wash under the tap, they don't really absorb as much water and turn mushy
as what many people had warned.
2. Fry chopped garlic in oil till it's slightly brown.
3. Add mushrooms and continue to stir-fry until they become soft.
4. Turn off heat and add salt and pepper.
5. Cut lettuce into thin strips.
6. Put lettuce, mushrooms into a salad bowl and add honey and vinegar
7. Mix and enjoy!
Barley Soup Recipe
Ingredients
I small round winter melon (skin and seeds removed, cut into 2-inch
cubes)
1 small cup of barley (rinsed)
5 cups of water
Pandan leaves (washed)
2 tablespoons of honey
Serves 3 mugs of soup
Directions:
1. Boil water and barley seeds for 15 minutes. Keep flame low.
2. Add the melon cubes and pandan leaves and continue to cook for 15 minutes.
3. Leave the soup to cool.
4. Add honey before drinking.

Honey Pineapple Tart - Get this Mouth-Watering Recipe!
Filling Ingredients
2 honey pineapples
2 tablespoons of honey (more if you can't get sweet honey
pineapples)
Method:
1. Grate and drain pineapples.
2. Cook drained pineapple on low heat until dry. Stir to
prevent any burnt pineapple at the base of the pot.
3. Add honey to pineapple paste.
4. Leave pineapple paste to cool.
Pastry Ingredients
250g butter
1 tablespoon of honey
1 egg yolk
pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla essence
300 g of top flour (or add more flour to make a manageable dough)
1 tablespoon of milk powder
1. Method:
1. Cream butter and sugar and beat in egg yolk.
2. Add salt and vanilla essence.
3. Fold in sifted flour.
4. Roll out dough and cut into shaped pieces using cookie cutter.
5. Place a small ball of pineapple filling on top of each shaped piece.
6. Place ready-to-bake tarts in fridge for 10 to 15 minutes before baking.
7. Bake in preheat oven for 15-20 minutes at 180 degree celcius.

How to Make Honey Garlic
Chicken
Making honey garlic chicken is an easy way to add flavor to chicken
from basic ingredients in your kitchen without requiring a lot of
seasonings or time. You can make this chicken in about 45 to 60
minutes, including cooking time, and have a hearty main course for
dinner. Honey garlic chicken can be used as the main dish or you can
cut it up and use it in a salad.
Things You'll Need

3 or 4 chicken breasts
Fillet knife
Baking pan
Aluminum foil Garlic Cooking brush Honey
Instructions
Set the temperature on the oven to 350 degrees and fillet three to four chicken
breasts, giving you about six to eight pieces of chicken. Remove the fat from
the breasts with the knife and line the baking pan with aluminum foil.
Place 6 to 8 tbsp. of garlic on the bottom of the pan and spread out with a
cooking brush. Pour 3 or 4 tbsp. of honey over the garlic in the pan and lay the
chicken pieces out in the pan.
Brush 1 tbsp. of garlic over the top of each piece of chicken to coat the top
and add two pats of butter to the top of each piece. Spread honey over the top
of the chicken until it is coated and place in the oven for 30 to 45 minutes.

Instructions
You need to have these things first.
2 cups water
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon salt, eyeball it
1 rounded cup white rice
2 tablespoons black sesame seeds, toasted white sesame seeds may be
substituted
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
Vegetable oil, for drizzling
Salt and pepper
1 cup chicken broth or water
1-inch ginger root, peeled and chopped
1/4 cup honey
1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
4 scallions, thinly sliced
1 ripe pineapple

First thing is to preheat a grill pan or large griddle over medium high heat.
Bring water to a boil in a small covered pot. Add butter, salt and rice to the pot.
Return the water to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer and replace cover. Simmer 18
minutes then remove rice from heat. Take the lid off pot to cool rice a bit. Scoop
rice into small balls with an ice cream scoop and your hands. Dampen hands with
water to work with rice if it is very sticky. Set rice balls on a plate and sprinkle with
black sesame seeds.
Don't forget, While your rice is cooking, lightly coat chicken with oil, salt and
pepper. Place chicken on hot grill and cook 6 minutes on the first side.

While chicken is cooking, bring chicken broth and ginger to a boil. Stir in the
honey. When honey has dissolved into broth, add teriyaki sauce and sesame oil
and reduce heat to simmer.
Turn chicken and coat liberally with honey teriyaki sauce using a basting brush.
Cook chicken 4 minutes, turn again and baste liberally again with sauce, then
cook 2 minutes longer. Remove chicken to a plate. Garnish chicken with sliced
scallions.
While chicken cooks on the second side, peel and cut a ripe pineapple into 8
spears. Cut off top and bottom of pineapple. Set pineapple upright and trim away
skin in strips from top to bottom. Halve pineapple lengthwise and quarter each
1/2, lengthwise. The core is edible, but may be trimmed if you wish. Pineapple
can be very acidic. Spears set in cold water for just 1 minute will keep the fruit
from stinging your lips when it is eaten. Serve with chicken and rice balls
Then eat and enjoy.

How to Make Honey Garlic
Sauce
Honey garlic sauce is pretty much what the name implies: a sauce that
tastes primarily like honey and garlic. Popular in Canada and
throughout the Northern U.S., honey garlic sauce is most commonly
found coating chicken wings. A perfect choice for people who don't like
"hot" or a tasty change of pace for those who simply enjoy the
occasional deviation from the norm, this sauce is easy to make and
takes less than 30 minutes.
Things You'll Need
•
¼ cup unsalted butter 1 tbsp. minced garlic ½ cup honey ½ cup chicken broth ½ cup
water 3 tbsp. soy sauce ¼ cup brown sugar 2 tbsp. cornstarch 1 tbsp. water
Instructions
•
Put the butter in a small saucepan and place over medium heat. When the butter
has melted, add the garlic and cook, stirring constantly for approximately two
minutes.

Add honey, chicken broth, water, soy sauce and brown sugar. Stir until well
blended.

Bring the mixture to a boil and reduce heat. Allow the mixture to simmer,
uncovered, for 10 minutes.

Place the cornstarch in a small bowl and add 1 tbsp. of water. Beat with a fork
until no lumps remain. Adjust the amount of water, if necessary, to completely
dissolve the cornstarch.

Whisk the cornstarch gradually into the sauce. Bring the sauce to a boil, stirring
