per size
- A set of 4.00mm (UK 8) double-pointed
knitting needles for Beanie and a pair
4.00mm knitting needles for Short or
Long Scarf or size needed to give correct
tension.
- Yarn needle for sewing in ends.
- Cardboard and crochet hook for Short
Scarf fringe.
Tension
22 sts and 30 rows to 10cm over stocking
st, using 4.00mm needles.
To work a tension square, using 4.00mm
needles, cast on 33 sts.
Work 44 rows stocking st. Cast off loosely.
Check your tension carefully.
If less sts to 10cm use smaller5LF
needles,

more sts use bigger needles.
Short Scarf with fringe:
12 x 140 cm (including fringe)
3 x ‘Cleckheaton’ Country 8 ply 50g balls
Long Scarf without fringe: 12 x 220cm
6 x ‘Cleckheaton’ Country 8 ply 50g balls
