NOTE – When joining a new ball of yarn, to keep the Scarf edges neat, join in new ball 3 sts in from the edge. The ends can then be sewn in vertically along the rib line. Continue in rib until Scarf measures 110 (220) cm from beg, ending with a 2nd row. Cast off in rib. TO MAKE UP DO NOT PRESS. Sew in ends. FRINGE (Short Scarf only) Wind yarn around a piece of cardboard 20cm wide and cut along one edge. Fold 4 strands of yarn in half and using crochet hook, draw loop through 2nd st at end of Scarf. Draw ends through loop and pull to tighten. Rep in every 4th st across each end of Scarf.
