Skill Level: Easy Finished Bag Size: 10” long
Materials:
SWTC YIN, 2 skeins [MC]
SWTC YANG, 1 skein [CC]
US size 6 (4mm) 16” circular & double-pointed needles
Stitch markers
Yarn needle
Gauge: 24 sts/32 rows = 4” in stockinette
Bag:
Ruffle:
With shorter circular needle and MC, cast on 108 sts. J
oin, being careful not to twist.
Next round: Knit in front and back of each st around; 216 sts.
Work even for 2” in stockinette.
Next (dec) round: K2tog around; 108 sts.

Bag: Knit 4 rounds even.
Eyelet round:
*K4, k2tog, yo; rep from * around.
Work even for 1” more. Cut yarn, switch to CC.
Work 1 repeat of Lace Pattern. Cut yarn, rejoin MC.
Work even for 6” more.
Gatsby
Decrease for bottom:
Also available from SWTC
Place 6 stitch markers, one every 18 sts.
Round 1: Knit to 2 sts before marker, k2tog.
Round 2: Knit.
Rep rounds 1&2 until 18 sts rem, changing to dpns when needed. Cut yarn, draw through sts and secure.
Strap (make 2):
With 2 dpns and MC, cast on 4 sts. Work in I-cord for 36”. Cut yarn, draw through sts and secure.
Finishing:
Thread each strap through eyelets in opposite directions. Tie ends tog in overhand knots to secure.
Weave in ends, block if desired.

Rounds 1&2: Knit.
Round 3: *K2tog, yo; rep around.
Rounds 4-6: Rep rounds 1-3.
Rounds 7&8: Knit.
