Make a slipknot and place it on your needle.
Row 1: Knit into front, back, and front of stitch – 3 sts.
Row 2: Sl 1 pwise wyif, knit into front, back, and front of next st, k1 – 5 sts.
Inc row: Sl 1 pwise wyif, m1, knit to end – 1 st inc’d. Rep Inc row, every row, until there are 27 sts on the ndl.
Body of Scarf
Row 1: Sl 1 pwise wyif, ssk, knit to end.
Row 2: Sl 1 pwise wyif, m1, knit to end. Rep rows 1 and 2, until scarf measures 64”, ending after Row 2 of
pattern.
Dec row: K1, ssk, knit to end – 1 st dec’d. Rep Dec row, every row, until 3 sts rem.
