CHARLES Arts & Crafts Fair annual holiday Wrap up your holiday shopping at Place St. Charles Annual Holiday Arts & Crafts Fair on Thursday, December 5 and Friday, December 6 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. on the first floor around the fountain. Handmade items by local artisans fill the many booths at this year’s event. With many new vendors, you won’t be disappointed with the wide array of distinctive crafts... and lots of jewelry! Everything from New Orleans-themed paintings and photos, hats of all kinds, clay and ceramic items, ornaments and more! Our Favorite Local Artists and Their Crafts Include: SHAUN ALEMAN Often humorous and sometimes sarcastic, the work of native Shaun Aleman is full of New Orleans’ unique heritage and culture. Original paintings in watercolor and acrylic with hand made frames from reclaimed wood from the New Orleans houses that he works on. Also notecards and prints.
