Vendor Partners for over ten years. As a result, almost 1300 Vendor Partners, including competitors of yours, benefit
from a more efficient and cost-effective relationship with SUPERVALU.
We expect all of our suppliers to join us in this important industry initiative to drive efficiencies across the entire supply

PUBLISH NEW ITEMS ASAP
• Timely publications will eliminate manual keying and
related errors
– Initial manual item set up frequently provides poor data quality –
impacting both organizations
• Work with your rep so that all items to be presented to SV
have been published before presenting
• Publish with “preliminary” data as early as possible
– We automatically update key weights and measure fields with any
changes
• Your rep still controls timing of the presentation to our
merchandiser
• GM/HBC Vendors should publish items after initial
meeting with their SUPERVALU merchant

• The new item process is where most bad data enters the
supply chain
• Accurate detailed descriptions are critical
• Expect our suppliers to follow the GDSN Package
Measurement Standards and the industry Data Quality
Framework
• Inaccurate data causes increased costs in every step of
the supply chain
