Log into SAFR NS
1. Open your internet browser and enter the following URL https://www.lillysafrns.com
2. Enter your system supplied username in Username.
3. Enter your password in Password.
4. Click Submit.

View Mailings
Reports that have been assigned to your study, from the time of ERB approval date are available.
To View the report:
1. Select the View Mailings tab.
2. Filter by the criteria desired or leave the page as is. The default view will be for new
reports that have not been accessed.
3. Select the checkbox next to the report(s) you wish to view. You may select up to 10
at a time to merge and view. Once the report(s) are selected for review click on the
‘View Selected’ button.
4. The user can save or print the reports from the PDF reader, such as Adobe Reader.

Delegation
Up to 5 delegates can be assigned for access to your studies. It is up to the primary investigator
to manage the delegate accounts. If the primary investigator account goes inactive so will the
delegate account. The primary investigator will receive a warning when the last delegate is
selected for removal.
1. Select the Delegation tab.
2. Select the ‘Add New Delegate” button
3. Enter the required information for the new delegate. Please note: A maximum of 5
delegates can be assigned. Duplicate delegates are not accepted.

4. A single delegate can be assigned to multiple studies through the Assign
Compounds/Trials function.
5. Select the ‘Save Delegation’ button to finalize the account. Please note: Account
information will automatically be sent to the delegate.
NOTE Reports are available to view for 365 days after the initial assignment to the study
regardless of account status
Status Reports
The safety mailing status report provides detailed information on the reports that have been
assigned to your studies.
1. Select the Status Report tab.
2. Select the Safety Mailing Status Report link
3. Select the filter criteria for the report. You can select a compound, study, report name
and date preferences.
4. Click Generate Report
5. Report is available with the ability to export to PDF and Excel. Please note: There
are native limitation exporting to Excel (record limits). To ensure successful export
please try to filter the data to manageable record size.

Account
Email Options
Users can opt in and out of email notifications within the system.
1. Select the Account tab
2. Select the Email Options tab
3. Select or de-select the emails you with to receive and not receive
4. Select the save button. Please note: if you are Primary investigator and have created
delegates, the email options selected for your account will not impact the delegate.
Change Password
1. Select the Account tab.
2. Enter your current password in Old Password.
3. Enter a new password in New Password.
4. Enter the same password you entered in New Password in Confirm Password.
5. Click Submit.
Password must adhere to the following policy:
Passwords must be between 6 and 20 characters in length
Old and New Passwords must be different

New and Confirm Passwords must always be same
Passwords must start with a letter. [A-Z] or [a-z]
Characters allowed are letters, digits and underscores
Passwords are NOT case-sensitive

View Tutorial Videos
Tutorials are in shortwave file format and can be viewed using your internet browser.
1. Select the Help tab.
2. Select the Tutorials tab.
3. Select the individual tutorial to view.

Contact SAFR NS Support
1. Contact SAFR NS Support in one of two ways:
a. Select the Help tab, select the Contact SAFR NS Support tab OR
b. Click the SAFR NS Support link located in the footer of every screen.
2. Enter your information in Name, Phone#, Email and Description mandatory fields.
3. Select an Issue and/or Related Module as desired.
4. Click Submit.

1. Select the Logout tab.
NOTE After selecting the logout tab user will be directed to the logon screen.
