How To Dispense Timolol Maleate-Ex Ophthalmic Gel Forming Solution
Before each use:
앫 Wash your hands.
앫 Although shaking is not required, if you shake, invert the
closed bottle and only shake ONCE. (It is not necessary to
shake the bottle more than once).
앫 If you shake more than once, set the bottle aside for at least
30 minutes before proceeding.
앫 Remove screw cap and place it in a clean, dry area.
4. Place your index finger on the bottom of the bottle. Push the
bottom of the bottle to dispense one drop of medication. To
make it easier to dispense one drop of medication, GENTLY
squeeze the sides of the bottle.
1. Hold the bottle upside down between your thumb and middle
finger.
5. Keep your head tilted backward and close your eye for 1 to
2 minutes (or as instructed by your health care professional)
to allow absorption of the medication into the eye.
If you have any questions concerning the instillation of your
eye medications, please consult a health care professional.
2. Gently tilt your head back and position the bottle above the eye
to be dosed. DO NOT TOUCH THE EYE WITH THE BOTTLE TIP.
