We use tubing, stability balls and your own body to help you build muscular endurance and strength. If you need a challenge…we’re here to help! TONED AND HEALTHY This class, taught by Diane McKinney, is all about toning our bodies and staying healthy. Strong, toned muscles burn more calories, make our clothes look better, and generally keep us in good health. Each class will start with a warm up that incorporates some low-impact cardio, then move into toning using a variety of equipment available, and end with a cool-down and stretching. PRENATAL FITNESS The benefits of exercise during pregnancy are tremendous. They include increased energy levels, reduced pregnancy discomfort, fewer delivery complications, decreased labor time, speedier recovery time. Exercise will give you better control of your pregnant body, because a strong and fit body can better support the growth and changes in a pregnant woman. Exercising when pregnant also helps circulation, relieves tension, and helps with balance and coordination. You will gain less weight and regain your pre-pregnancy shape sooner. ATS BELLY DANCE BASICS American Tribal Style (ATS) is a relatively new form of belly dance which combines flamenco, gypsy, ballet and other traditional dance styles into a common language of dance enjoyed by women (and men) all over the world. The improvisational nature of ATS provides dancers with a vocabulary of moves from which they create their own choreography. Not only is ATS fun, but belly dance is specifically designed for a woman's body and teaches correct body posture, increases gracefulness and strength, builds selfconfidence, and improves flexibility. You will also learn to zill as you dance, which adds an exciting element to performances. Bead and coin-free hip scarves only, please. Wear comfortable workout clothing. Bare feet or dance shoes only in studio. ZUMBA Ditch the workout! Join the Party!! The Zumba® program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and Hip Hop with easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away. Our goal is simple: We want you to want to work out, to love working out, and to get hooked. Zumba® Fanatics achieve long-term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exciting hour of calorie-burning, body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life! RISE AND RIDE! Kick-start your morning and bike indoors with this high-energy workout packed with a variety of drills, music and coaching cures. Rise to the challenge in this eye-opener spinning class that accommodates all levels so that each participant can get the most from this class. CYCLING Spinning works your quadriceps, hamstrings, calves, hips and abdominals. It’s an excellent method for losing weight, because it burns a tremendous number of calories. It also boosts cardiovascular fitness, muscle tone and endurance using interval training techniques. An objective measurement is heart rate achieved during the class. Unlike actual cycling, there are no worries about lagging behind the pack. Everyone finishes together and gets a great workout from Christy! Two times to choose from. CYCLE FITNESS Come try this new high energy workout incorporating a combination of indoor cycling and calorie blasting body sculpting. We will begin in the spin room for a 30 minute interval followed by a second half hour in the aerobics room. This class is designed to raise your heart rate and tone your body.
