Since that deposit we received budget funds in excess of $8,000 and additional contributions to the Capital Campaign. There will also be a few bills received in early January
that will be attributed to 2013. Therefore final 2013 numbers will be printed in about two
weeks, but it appears we will finish 2013 “in the black” and ahead of budget! PTL!

ATTENTION! ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS!
In January we will be having our Sunday night Dinner and a Bible Study
series with dinner at 6:00 and Bible study at 6:30. However, I would like
to ask our adult Sunday School teachers to come an hour early on one
of those Sunday nights for a Sunday School age division planning meeting. The designated nights would be:
January 12: Young Adult Teachers
January 19: Median Adult Teachers
January 26: Senior Adult Teachers
We’ll meet from 5:00-6:00 pm at the South Campus and get you out in
time to eat and join the Bible study. So please put your age group date
on your calendar and plan to join us.

Please start now to plan with your Sunday School
classes for a Super Sunday Outreach Fellowship.
Plan one or more homes to gather at so you’ll have
enough room to invite guests and prospects. This is
not just a “stay at home” night, but a reach out and build bridges event!
So, even if you’re not a football fan, you can still be a part of reaching
out to those who need the fellowship and ministry of a small group.
We have several workers who have had to step aside and will not be returning after the Christmas break. If you would like to be a part of a great and
effective ministry to our children, we have openings in a variety of positions / age groups. Please contact David or Julie Crow if you would like to
volunteer, have questions or are simply interested in knowing more about
the AWANA Clubs ministry at FBC Skiatook.
SINGING CHURCHMEN SCHEDULE CHANGE...
Several of you have asked when the SCM will be in our area
again. A last minute change has relocated another 2014 SCM
concert to the Tulsa area. Dates are listed below. All dates
feature full choir and orchestra.
January 23: FBC Inola (hosted by Matt Neighbors)
March 6: FBC Pryor
April 10:
FBC Broken Arrow—This will be a joint concert of
the Singing Churchmen & Churchwomen (over 400 singers!) and will be a
repeat of their historic Falls Creek concert in November when they debuted the new Lifeway CD “The Applause of Heaven.”
PACKING UP CHRISTMAS: Can you help?
Jan. 6 & 7 we are going to be taking down the Christmas trees, decorations & poinsettias. It’s been several
years since we’ve given our decorations a good inventory. So, we are looking for a crew of 5-6 people who
could give us a few hours, day or evening, to help us
inventory, label, clean out & pack away the decorations
for 2013 so we’ll have a clearer idea of what we have
for 2014 when we will be decorating two worship areas. If you can help out,
please let Bro. Scott know when you are available. We can use people
Monday or Tuesday (Jan. 6-7), day or evening. Thanks!
