Open LineIn and set as follows:
Be sure all the “advanced options in Select are default
Then,
Be sure to activate Pass Thru.
The LineIn app must be open when using REW.
Now go to Finder>Go Menu>Utilities>Audio MIDI Setup and set the following:
Select “Input” in the right panel. Highlight Soundflower in the left pane, use the gear
menu at the bottom left to select Soundflower (2ch) as the input (it will then show
the microphone icon associated with Soundflower like below). Be sure everything in
the right panel is as shown below:

Set Soundflower to the following using the sound flower icon in the menu bar:
That’s it.
You should be done. The way that I knew that things were NOT initially set
correctly on my machine was that I was getting VERY DIFFERENT SPL traces from
20-­‐20,000 Hz depending on “length” setting the sweep was set for. THAT SHOULD
NOT HAPPEN!!! Setting the length to higher settings extends the length of time for
the sweep and collects more data points/frequency (which would theoretically
make the data more accurate at the expense of computation time to perform the
Fourier transform) but it should not “demonstrably” affect the overall SPL trace.
