How to set up RTB?
Please follow the steps below to do the settings both on the server and the player.
A) SERVER Side
n Open the CMS Web Manager and
login with your username and
password.
o Go to "RTB SERVER"
p Enable input 1, choose a channel
(let's say the number 1) and select
PAL or NTSC and the quality of the
stream (let's say you choose 5Mbps
PAL)
q Press "Add/Edit"

r If you tick "Enable broadcast", the
live stream will be sent to all players
via the port 8100. If the HTML
displayed on the screen via SMPWEB/WEBPLUS contains the
tag"rtb://8100", it will automatically
display the live streaming in
the video area you designed.
s If you tick “Enable multicast; IP
Address”, you have to write down
the IP address
t If you tick “Enable multicast; IP
Address”, you can also add players
name and IP addresses for unicast

B) PLAYER Side (SMP-WEB/WEBPLUS)
n Open SMP-WEB/WEBPLUS Web
Manager and login.
o Go to "BROWSER"
p Add an item (HTML with the right
tag to receive the live stream).
Tag Example :
<object type="video/mpeg" WIDTH="320"
HEIGHT="240">
<param name="src" value="rtb://8100”>
<param name=”loop” value=”1”>
</object>
q Enable the HTML to be played back

C) PLAYER Side (SMP-PRO2)
n Open SMP-PRO2 Web Manager and
login.
o Go to "PLAYBACK" –>
“MULTIMEDIA”
p Tick “RTB Client (Streaming from
CMS) and choose the option
Unicast/Broadcast or Multicast.
Note! :
Please choose the same setting as the one
in the CMS server.
q If you choose Multicast, please enter
a Multicast IP address.
Note! :
Please set the same IP address as the one
in the CMS server.
Please note: :
z Each time you changed a setting in any page, please first click [SAVE] and then [APPLY].
