Reliability Standards Tracking Site – How to Post a Comment Below are instructions for commenting on a standard authorization request (SAR) or draft standard. The instructions assume that you have registered and signed into the Reliability Standards Tracking site. Each “standard under development” is displayed in the List of SARs/Standards table on the home page. As the standard progresses through each stage of development and approval, progress is tracked by green (indicating that action is occurring on the site) and gray (indicating a completed stage). Green indicates when a SAR or standard is available for comment during a certain stage (SAR development and draft standard development). Click on the name of the standard under development for which you would like to submit comments. The standard under development is posted for your review. When you are ready to comment, click Post a Comment. Warning: Do not use your browser’s back and forward buttons to navigate this site. You may lose your data or experience other unpredictable results. To navigate, please use the buttons provided at the bottom of each page (such as the “Back” button) or the navigation menus at the top. TRE PUBLIC APRIL 25, 2008 Reliability Standards Tracking Site – How to Post a Comment In the “Post a Comment” section, you are asked a series of questions about the standard under development. Select your answer from the drop-down menu. You may enter additional comments in the box provided. As you finish with each question, click the Save and Continue button (or Back button to edit) at the bottom of the page. A summary of your responses to each question will be listed at the end. Review your comments. If you need to make a change, click on the question to edit your response. If you notice that information needs to be updated, please click the Edit button. (Contact the Reliability Standard Manager if your voting segment information needs to be updated.) Enter the name and organization of each individual, or select that person’s name from the drop-down menu. To add another individual’s name, click the Add a Member button in the box. PAGE 5 OF 7 TRE PUBLIC APRIL 25, 2008 Reliability Standards Tracking Site – How to Post a Comment When you have completed entering each person’s name, click the Back to Post Comment Verification button at the bottom of the page. To print out your questions and answers, click the Print button at the bottom of the page. When you are certain that all of the information displayed is correct, click the Submit for Posting button at the bottom of the page. You will be sent back to the home page.
