BUSINESS VENDOR APPLICATION 1 BUSINESS VENDOR COVER SHEET LOCATION: KSU SPORTS & RECREATION PARK DATE: OCTOBER 26, 2013 TIME: 4PM-12AM WWW.OWL-O-WEEN.COM Thank you for your interest in participating as a business vendor at Owl O’Ween! 2013 will be the inaugural year for this spooktacular hot air balloon festival; a family friendly event featuring an amazing balloon glow with more than a dozen hot air balloons, trick-or-treating, harvest beer sampling, local foods, roving entertainment, a Whimsical Forest kids’ area, and a main stage. The event will be held at KSU Sports + Recreation Park, which sits at the base of picturesque Kennesaw Mountain just 20 miles north of downtown Atlanta and less than 1 mile from both I-75 and I-575. With a population of 5.3 million, and a “bonus” of over 24K students attending Kennesaw State University, we expect 25K in attendance throughout the event. Application Information & Payment Process: Please fill out the attached application, and return along with payment. We will consider your application, and notify you if you have been selected to participate in the 2013 Owl O’ Ween Hot Air Balloon Festival. If you have not been selected, your check will be returned. Sending in an application does not guarantee acceptance. Payment: We prefer payments by check or money order. If you choose to pay by credit card, there will be an additional processing fee of $35. A $50 charge will be assessed for all returned checks. Make checks payable to: Promotions Marketing, LLC Refund Policy: If withdrawal is made 45+ days prior to the event, you can receive a 50% refund on your space fee. No refunds will be given within 45 days of the event. All refund requests must be made in writing, and received by our office, via fax or email. Theme: We are seeking creative vendors. Special consideration will be given to anyone who participates in Owl O’Ween décor with their tents and displays. Contests and prizes will be announced to vendors to encourage participation and exceptional hospitality. We encourage you to indicate any experience or awards that your business has received that will help us to market your booth, and be sure to send your logo (as a vector file) so that we can have it included on our website. Please visit www.owl-o-ween.com to get a “feel” for the flair that we will have at this festival. Although this is a Halloween event, we are NOT looking for gory displays. Think more along the lines of vintage carnival/sideshow looks. What We Will Provide: Booth Space, (1) 20 amp outlet, and access to water near your site (as needed). Tents, signs, equipment, tables, chairs, and décor will be your responsibility.
