Subject to change without notice 01/14 XCAIP013EN-F Sample Preparation Product Range ::: Clear Solutions in Sample Preparation Multiwave PRO Master of Sample Preparation Methods HPA–S Unrivaled Performance 4The Multiwave PRO microwave reaction system delivers the sample preparation solutions you need to obtain excellent trace analysis results, even with complicated, demanding samples. The High Pressure Asher HPA–S is the reference instrument for wet chemical pressure decomposition. The instrument is TÜV certified and can prepare even the most difficult samples for reliable AAS, ICP-AES, ICP-MS and voltammetric analysis. 4Multiwave PRO masters high temperatures and provides comprehensive reaction control features. 4Its wide range of accessories allows digestion, leaching, oxygen combustion, solvent extraction, drying, evaporation, and UV digestion with one single system. The HPA-S enables the maximum decomposition parameters and the largest sample weight in hermetically sealed reaction vessels made of quartz glass or glassy carbon. Uniform heating and exact temperature control guarantee the highest level of reproducibility. Features Features 41500 Watt microwave power, unpulsed controllable 4Decomposition of up to 64 samples simultaneously 4Integrated high-performance cooling system 4Certified safety system 4Simultaneous measurement of pressure and temperature 4Infrared temperature measurement of all vessels 4Comprehensive application library Decomposition pressure up to 130 bar Decomposition temperature up to 320 °C Unlimited decomposition times Reaction vessels VolumeMaterial 15 ml Quartz 50 ml Quartz 90 ml Quartz 20 ml Glassy carbon Number 14 or 21 7 5 6 Multiwave PRO Abundantly Clear Highest sample throughput Highest decomposition quality Digestion rotors with up to 64 vessels eliminate the bottleneck in sample preparation while being fast and easy to operate without compromising safety. Operating pressures and temperatures up to 80 bar and 300 °C result in matrix-free solutions without contamination or loss of analytes, even for samples which are difficult to decompose or react violently. Simple operation and a comprehensive library of applications make the Multiwave PRO a powerful tool for sample preparation. Everything under control Integrated cooling Continuous pressure monitoring of all eight sample vessels allows for safe and precise reaction control, even with critical samples. Information about reaction parameters is delivered by installationfree pressure and temperature sensors from a reference vessel. The reaction vessels can be operated at maximum operating pressure and maximum temperature simultaneously. The integrated vessel cooling prevents overheating and ensures a higher sample throughput due to short cooling times. An external IR sensor monitors the temperature of all reaction vessels at the base of each vessel. This rotor has a superior design for controlled release of overpressure. Multiwave ECO simplifies your routine handling of environmental, food and many other samples. The low investment and operating costs of Multiwave ECO and low costs for consumables make it a good investment. Extraction above the solvent's boiling point for unmatched speed and safety. Oxygen combustion Microwave-induced combustion is a unique option for analysis of halogenes or metals in combustible samples. UV digestion Microwave-powered UV lamps completely destroy organic matter in liquid samples with little reagent and low analytical blanks. Hydrolysis Protein hydrolysis can be performed from milligram to gram scale in less than one hour, even under inert gas atmosphere. Evaporation Acids or silicates are removed under clean room conditions without changing the reaction vessel. Drying Samples are dried prior to digestion quickly and without bad smells. Benefits 4ECO heating concept - A smart microwave heating concept that does more with less 4ECO cooling concept - The fastest cooling of all laboratory microwaves 4Simplicity - Simplified handling of rotor and vessels 42 turns to tightness - Simple 3-part vessel concept 4Pressure-activated venting - Reliable, temperatureindependent system which handles pressure when the heat is on - high temperatures and high sample weights 4Rotor 1DRY as an option to dry samples before digestion 4Rotor 16HVT50 for large sample weights up to 2 g organic samples; Rotor 64MG5 for micro samples
