When supplied with electricity, the Table is active.
• Height adjustment
D0666014 Hand set incorporates two buttons with triangular symbols corresponding to ‘Up’ and ‘Down’.
Press and hold button until the tabletop attains a desired height. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS: Please avoid
any hazards to the patient during the height adjustment.
• Deactivation
When disconnected from the electricity, the Table is inactive.

• Cleaning and maintenance
Use only soft cleaning agents and high quality cloth. To avoid bruising and smudging, polish the
recently cleaned component with a soft, dry cloth. Please avoid soaking electricity components (cords,
inlets etc.)
• Safety fuse replacement
A damaged safety fuse may cause the Table to malfunction. Should you suspect such a damage, use a
flat head screwdriver to open the fuse holder located in the lower (narrow) part of the column. Replace
the damaged fuse with a new one of the same type. Now close the Safety fuse port and check the Table
operation.
• Disposal
Please see that TAVO ophthalmic tables contain parts that cannot be disposed in domestic waste. Please
contact a waste management expert should you want to dispose of these.
• Intended and Unintended applications
WARNING AND SAFETY NOTICES
TAVO is an ophthalmic instrument table to be used, integrated with other equipment, for
performing ophthalmology and optometry activities. Can also be used as an office worktable.
Other applications than specified may cause hazards and/or damage.
EXPECTED POSITIONS
When using the table, Users are expected to be seated within safe distance. Only then may the
Users use the tabletop to support their elbows or hands or palms. It is not expected of Users to sit
on the tabletop.

• no body, clothing or equipment parts are to be positioned between the contour of the table and
obstacles such as walls, door frames and other, when the distance between those shortens to
values that may result in harm or hazard due to squeezing.
