Show Star Series:
Extension programs serve people of all ages regardless of socioeconomic
level, race, color, sex, religion, disability, national origin, genetic
information or veteran status. The Texas A&M University System, U.S. Dept
of Agriculture, and the County Commissioners Courts of Texas Cooperating.




The East Texas Show Star series Clinic and
Prospect Shows are intended to provide and
educational opportunity for 4-H and FFA
members participating in the livestock project
area. The main purpose is to teach the basic
principles of livestock management as they
relate to facility maintenance, selection, nutrition, animal health, handling, showmanship
and transportation.
“Quality Counts” programs are essential to
ensure the safe and legal use of drugs or
medications to facilitate the ethical care, development and exhibition of livestock
