NEW! Big 5 Sporting Goods is now accepting applications for our new store in Crescent City, CA. During set-up employees will be scheduled Monday – Friday
from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm., although schedules may vary. Work will involve unloading trucks, lifting heavy boxes, building racks and shelving, pricing merchandise,

Mailroom Supervisor - The Del Norte Triplicates Smith River Printing Plant is seeking an experienced mailroom supervisor to join our production team. We are
looking for an exceptional leader with a proven record of positive team management, project planning, and responsiveness. The ideal applicant will be self
motivated, show attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy, and be able to meet deadlines. Qualified applicants will have experience with inserting, stacking
and labeling equipment and be familiar with maintenance procedures, supplies, and various shipping/receiving methods. Applicants must showcase an ability to
demonstrate excellent organizational, computer, and both written and verbal communication skills. Must have three to five years of supervisory experience in a
production environment. Physical requirements include dexterity, heavy lifting and long periods of standing. Experience with circulation, sales and commercial print
are a plus. Duties include maintaining adequate staffing and assigning duties for effective performance with regards to fluctuating workloads; ensuring optimal
distribution of advertisements, related publications, inserts or special sections; filing accurate work records such as calendars, employee's time and wages, daily
receipts, memos, and production reports; setup and operation of all mailroom equipment; oversight of bundle processing line and direction of bundles to proper
carriers. This position will also be monitoring equipment and processes in order to identify and correct problems; recommending changes to policy and procedures
with an effort to minimize waste and downtime and maximize efficiency; interact with different levels of external and internal customers; maintain safety standards.
This full time position generally works from 5pm til 1am four days a week. Wage DOE.
