This product is designed to monitor and assess the integrity of professional digital video broadcast transmissions over DVB-ASI networks. The product monitors DVB-ASI signals according to ETR 101 290 levels 1, 2 and 3. FCS250-TS IP Port Analog Mon CH1 One common use of FCS250-TS is to automate SLA compliance monitoring in contribution and distribution video networks. It enables service providers to monitor DVB-ASI signals transported on behalf of customers while making sure that SLA objectives are fulfilled. It also enables service providers to take proactive measurements when quality issues are detected. A set-up screen for each channel allows for detailed monitoring from top level alarms and faults, right down to fine-grain details of ETSI TR 101 290. Up to four different program profiles can be pre-loaded for each channel and a scheduler screen allows for one full week of profile scheduling. An alarm screen provides for alarm persistence and hold time filtering as well as severity assignment and threshold settings. Individual channel SNMP Informs are generated and sent based on the settings of this screen.
