Family-Owned Business of the Year
The Award
The Family-Owned Business of the Year Award recognizes a family-owned business for
exceptional business achievement and outstanding commitment to Anaheim’s business
community.
Eligibility
All nominees must:

Be a family-owned business.

Be located in the City of Anaheim or have direct ties to an Anaheim project and be a
current member of the Anaheim Chamber.
Criteria
The Award Winner will be selected based on their answers to the following questions:

What are the company’s core values, goals and overall mission?

Please give a brief history of your business.

Please provide details that demonstrate the company’s profitability, growth and
stability over the past three years.

How has the company built and maintained its leadership role in Anaheim’s business
community?

How has the company contributed to the economic vitality of Anaheim?

What has the company done to create a corporate culture that is supportive of its
employees – family and non-family - and their quality of life?

In what ways does the company give back to the Anaheim community? What efforts
has the company made to strengthen family-owned businesses within the
community?
Nomination Process
Businesses that meet the award requirements are encouraged to apply directly for the
award. In addition a business may be nominated by another business person,
community leader or business organization.
If you would like to nominate a business for this award:

Complete the attached application

Attach a separate sheet which answers the questions listed in the criteria section
above.

Collateral material may be included such as photos, brochures, newsletters and
press releases.

Nominations must be returned to the Anaheim Chamber of Commerce
No Later Than October 10, 2014.
