K-Grade 5 Students Join us each Sunday night at 6:00 as we begin a new
ministry for elementary-age children entitled 252 (Luke 2:52,
“Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and
man.”) This ministry will involve a monthly emphasis on spiritual growth and is packed with upbeat music, games and
small group fun.

WPHC
CrossWalk A new season of CrossWalk has begun. CrossWalk is a character development ministry to students in
the Caldwell County School system. This season not
only includes Dudley Shoals, but also Gamewell, Granite Falls & Lower Creek Elementary. FMI about CrossWalk or how you can get involved, see Pastor Charles.

Children’s Christmas Musical Practice for the Children’s
Christmas Musical is currently taking place every Sunday at
4:00 p.m. in the Children's Church room. For more information
or questions contact Pastor Charles (781-4572) or Carol Bouchard (493-3907).
Accelerant 2015 Attention Students in grades 6-12! Accelerant
is Jan. 29–Feb. 1, just around the corner! If you would like to
attend this year, please turn in your deposit to Pastor Stephen
by October 12. For non-skiers, the deposit is $80/person. See
Pastor Stephen FMI.
Van Ministry Zora Thomason is the director of our van ministry.
If you should need transportation to service, please contact
Zora at 828.292.0930. The van will pick up for the Sunday
morning 10:45 a.m. service and Wednesday night service at
7:00 p.m.
Music and Multimedia Ministry Anyone interested in participating in the choir or any aspect of Music Ministry is asked to
contact Pastor Leah Meads. Also, we are currently in need of
additional computer operators for our multimedia presentation.
If you are interested please contact Pastor Leah or Laurie Severt.
Pastor Leah will be available at the Welcome Center at the end of
each service today for anyone who would like to speak with her.
Administrative Council Meeting The WPHC Administrative
Council will meet Tuesday, October 21 at 7:00 p.m.
Trunk or Treat Sign up today at the Welcome Center if you are
interested in participating in this year’s Trunk or Treat event to
be held on Wednesday, October 29 at 7:00 p.m. We need at
least 50 families to decorate their “trunks” and handout “treats”!
The event will also include several awards for best costume and
best decorated trunk.
Homeschool Association The Homeschool Association is planning a trip to the zoo on Thursday, October 30. For more information please contact Katrina Furr at 327-4319. This is available to all Homeschooled students.
New Member Class New Member Class is open to everyone who has accepted Christ as their personal Savior. This
class is the first step to becoming a member of the WPHC
family. New Member class will meet this evening at 5:00
p.m. in the Conference Room.
JOY Bible Study JOY Bible Study will meet this week on
Tuesday, October 14 at 10:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
Everyone is welcome to come for this time of worship and
fellowship.
C.A.R.E. Ministry C.A.R.E. will NOT meet this week due
to ReConnect. The “R” team will resume on Tuesday, October 21 at 6:15 p.m. C.A.R.E. is calling, praying, visiting
and writing cards. A free meal is served at 6:15 followed
by ministry from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. If you are interested in
becoming involved in this ministry, please contact Pastor
Gray Williams.

to sign up at the Welcome Center and may bring one guest to
