LEADED GLASS DOOR REPAIR

All those beautiful leaded glass doors you
see everywhere. The one with a broken
piece of glass covered with cardboard,
overwhelming and expensive. Take the
pain out- Learn to repair glass broken in
doors, windows, panels and more.
Each student will be provided a small
glass panel for the purpose of breaking
out a piece and learning how to replace it.
Enjoy restoring a beautiful work and
having a good sense of accomplishment

own panel creations.

will practice with large and small pieces
and gain an understanding of why it

TEEN PAINTING AND DRAWING

Session 1: Theme: Self Portraits
With our Teen Painting and Drawing Class,
students get to choose which medium they
would like to focus on for the 4 week class.
This session students will learn about gridded drawings. We will grid and draw self
portraits. Students will need to bring in
their own photograph. After portrait is
drawn we will then use drawing techniques
(graphite or colored pencil) or painting
techniques (acrylic) to create unique and
expressive self portraits. All levels of art!

Session 2: Theme: Creating a Message
With our Teen Painting and Drawing
Class, students will be able to choose
which medium they would like to work on
for the 4 week class. For session 2 students
will learn mixed media techniques to apply
to their work. After technique preparation,
students will choose a message and create
a work of art to reflect that message. Students should look up famous quotes, song
lyrics or news media to help inspire them
for their message.

glass, or warm glass, an ancient art form
rising in popularity. Learn basic glass
cutting, use trade tools and create your
own fused glass art. You will use different

different techniques to achieve desired
results. The firing process will be
explained but completed outside of class.

painting but weren’t sure where to start?
Maybe you have never painted before,
have some experience, or just a painter
looking for quality instruction to enhance
your skills. Sign up to learn the Bob Ross
Wet-on-wet Technique and create beautiful pieces of art during a Bob Ross
Workshop. Please note, only Bob Ross
products will be used in this workshop to
achieve the desired results. These
products may be purchased at Hobby
Lobby or Michael’s craft stores. A product list will be provided upon request.
You may “rent” the necessary supplies for
the day (brushes, medium, painting knife,
thinner and paint) by purchasing the
“Palette Fee” for an additional $20.00.
Students need only bring paper towels to
wipe off their brushes and baby wipes to
clean their hands.

and beautiful works of art.

important of these — Two Step — but we
will touch on the other dances so that
when you are out dancing at a club, you
won’t have to sit out any of the songs

is perfect). We start with Ballroom Latin
technique, then move into easy patterns

Zumba is a class that involves dance
aerobic elements and lets you move to the
rhythm. It’s an invigorating dance fitness
class that lets you move to music from all
types of dance styles: cumbia, salsa,
meringue, mamba, raggaeton, cha cha, hip
hop music and tango. Zumba toning is the
class for you if you like to work out with
weights and dance while you do it.
Zumba toning targets the abs,thighs,hips,
and other muscles throughout the body.
Zumba toning is a sculpting of the body
using dance and cardio. Will need two-lb.
weights for the toning class. Each class is
$5, you may pay at the door, or you may
pay online for the month $35.

TABATA (HIIT)

HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) is
an enhanced form of interval training,
alternating periods of short intense
anaerobic or strength exercise with a lessintense recovery period. These shorter
duration, higher intensity workouts
produce powerful results. Tabata provides
improved athletic capacity and condition,
increased strength, improved glucose
metabolism, and improved fat burning.
Each workout is approximately 25 - 45
minutes. No experience necessary. A
yoga mat and set of dumbbells is recommended but not required. Drop-In $10

CampFit KIDS RUNNING CLUB

CampFit Kids Running Club is designed
to help kids reach new goals with running. Running club will run for 5 weeks,
each week will consist of a short teaching
time focused on basic running forms,
breathing techniques, pre and post running stretching and nutrition. Students
will choose a distance (1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and 1
mile distances) and work on that distance
each session. Each week CampFit Kids
will run their distance and earn a spirit
stick with their placement according to
their time. Kids can also earn points by
encouraging their families to get out and
run during the week. On the final week,
the CampFit kids with the most points
and best times will earn medals in
addition to their spirit sticks. Parents are
encouraged to come and run with their
kids and help them encourage one
another. The goal of CampFit Kids is to
encourage families to get fit together.
Running is an easy way to play together
and anyone, no matter their size or shape
everyone can do it! Each CampFit Kid
will receive a t-shirt, running bag and
Running Club spirit stick. CampFit Kids
Running Club will be limited to the first

Kids on Piano offers an introductory
course designed for students age 4 and
older. The lessons are fun and packed
with activities. Not only will your child
learn to play the piano, but experience
music through movement and games.
Classes usually consist of 3 students who
are similar in age. All students are actively engaged the entire lesson.
