PRESCHOOL/YOUTH ENRICHMENT
NEW! Amazing Minds (Ages 6 – 8) Discovery Kids Puterbugs (Ages 3 – 7) Introduction to STEM Learning (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). Our mission is to teach young children how to respect technology as a tool for learning, rather than a toy in isolation. Each student works individually on their own mini laptop. Early keyboarding, reading readiness, problem solving and teamwork are all part of this program. Children will not have access to the internet, but will begin to learn about internet safety as well. Min/Max: 5/10, (8 wks) Come and exercise your brain with us. Explore a variety of topics such as rocks and minerals, countries far and near, learn to use tools that help you solve problems such as magnifying glasses, microscopes and geology kits. Engage in science experiments. Plus there are topic-related prizes like Australian bommerangs and shark teeth. Min/Max: 6/12, (8 wks) Held at Diamond Lake Rec Center PROG DAY 18744 Sa PROG DAY DATE TIME R/NR 18763 Sep 29 – Nov 17 4 – 4:45 pm $96/101 Tu Kids' Cooking (Ages 4-8) Learn to prepare and taste seasonal food and treats.
