Description: Making ethical decisions every day can be challenging! This session will offer practice in deciding what is a
legal or regulatory matter, what is a workplace issue, and what is an ethical issue. The code of ethics in the Texas rules found
in TAC 741, Chapter 22, Subchapter D will be used. Some ethical issues addressed in this presentation relate to both Texas
law and the ASHA code of ethics (e.g., conflict of interest, delegation of tasks, accurate documentation, remuneration).
