RACE ONE DOUBLE - 1-1, 1-4, 2-1, 2-4
1-JASPERTHAT…raced credibly against the boys on Saturday night in a quick mile. Could be on the engine here.
2-G G ROULETTE...steps up, yes, but showed good gate speed & a second bid on backside. Like the current form.
6-MIGHTY NICE...gets a bit of class relief. Should be a lot tighter this time around. Can rattle cages in the lane.
4-MAID OF SILVER...not much on paper but did show an itsy-bitsy bit of backside pace in last. Cover flow trip.
RACE TWO
4-ANDOVER AMERICA...grand trotter won last on cruise control after inheriting early lead. Off the pace here?
1-GALE WARNING...game warrior won for the 63rd time last start. Rail should keep him in the hunt throughout.
3-ADENIUM...made first up bid in last but faltered a tad turning for home. Should be tighter this time around.
2-WHISPUR...headstrong but very, VERY fast. Make sure he looks relaxed during the post parade. That’s key!!!
RACE THREE 4-MACH ME NOT…made confident quarter move to the top in last and led every step thereafter...except last 2.
3-WINBAK HEAVENLY…paced last half in :56 to eke by late to win. Short field benefits big time. Stable sizzling.
5-KEYSTONE CHRISTA…has bullet-like gate speed. Probably on the choo-choo train again in this situation.
1-MISS SPARTA...last was a needed tightener. Rail should keep cozily close against these. How ‘bout a bubble???
RACE FOUR
1-MARKIE...used hard to make the top in last & still won for fun. Queen of her class. 1 to 5 would be generous.
2-GOLD STAR GINGER...actually closed a bit of ground late on last week’s runner-up. Edges by for place honors.
3-TROTTING JC POSS...having “seconditis” these days against top pick. Good thing is that she trots every step.
5-FAMOUS HALLE...did show some gate speed in last but hasn’t quite shown the staying power to threaten these.
RACE FIVE PICK - 4
5,9 w 3,8 w 4 w 1,3,5
5-VOLUMINOUS…filly has extreme speed. Just needs to be allowed to stretch out her stride to spring an upset.
9-LIMELIGHT...been dominant in Sunshine State Stakes. Post doesn’t help but probably on bullet train early here.
6-J D ELEVEN BELLS...put in good effort in first start back in a month. Should be very competitive against these.
8-MARION...was hung out to dry in last but stayed prominent ‘til top of the lane. Cover flow journey in here.
RACE SIX
8-TOTAL FREEDOM...on rampage in last but bumped into competitor turning for home. Trouble free trip upsets.
3-STRAIGHT PRIORITY…showed tenacity in last and was getting to the winner late. Threatens off live cover trip.
1-LUVNUISFUN...lolly-gagged early on but showed sustained trot entire final lap to hit board. Much better post.
6-GRAY N CLOUDY...made two impressive moves in last--one at start & another 3/8ths out--and held on late.
RACE SEVEN
4-BOMBILLA HANOVER...hasn’t raced in six weeks but classy mare finds very soft spot to hit the winner’s circle.
5-GOLDSTAR ROCKETTE...was impressive in first start back in 4 1/2 months in gate-to-wire win. Form still great!
6-HOT LATTE...showed sharp gate speed in last & made second move into the final turn in a very nice effort.
2-REAL NICE GIRL...impressive start back after VERY long layoff. Was nice & relaxed early with potent pace late.
RACE EIGHT
DOUBLE - 1-1, 1-2, 1-4, 1-6
1-MAJESTIC WON...forgive miscue in last. Look for a relaxed beginning followed by a quarter move to the top.
5-GIMME THE LOOT... was shuffled a bit by the stands in last but did show some good, solid trot late in the mile.
3-WHAT ABOUT BRIAN...away well from the rail in last but shuffled a bit mid-mile. Out final turn & good trot late.
2-CREDIT SCORE...made very bold 1/4 move to the top, trotted mid-half in :58.4 and, tho tiring late, won easily.
RACE NINE
6-IMAHONKYCONCH MAN...always gives a trying effort. Qualified nicely, tho bit short at end, Freshness pays off!
4-EXPLOSIVE MUSCLES...first start back in last was credible. Left, cover, then brush by winner left too far back.
1-NORTHERN INFERNO...has sensational gate speed & that + rail keeps close up throughout. Tighter & on ticket.
2-SKAD’S WINNER...been trotting 2:00 + - on slower half milers up north. Fits in here like a glove. Bruce choice!
