October, 2014 Schedule of Training Mustang, October 18, Conscience Discipline: Brain Smart to Positive Intent. The training is from 9am – 3pm, located at Bridgekids Learning Center Fellowship Hall, just east of 1120 W. State Highway 152 in Mustang. There is no cost for this Tier II training but must pre-register by calling Peggy Adams at 405-213-9883. If no answer, leave a detail message. Adults only, no childcare provided. “This training is designed to understand children’s behavior in order to help them develop self-control. Learn techniques to improve classroom management.” Registration deadline is 10/17/14. November, 2014 Schedule of Training El Reno, November 1st, Amy Huff, with OK-AIMH, will present “Recognizing and Supporting Babies and Young Children Experiencing Stress and Trauma”, 8:30am – 12:30pm, Redlands Community College Large Conference Room. Fee is $10 in advance, $15 at the door. Fee can be paid by cash, check or money order payable to Youth & Family Services. CEU’s available for Tier II training. Alva, November 6th, Kellie Knolles and Vikki Dobbins will present “10 Steps to Positive Discipline” based on discipline techniques of Dr. Becky Bailey, Ph.D. Training will be at the Alva Public Library from 6:30 – 8:30pm. Okarche, November CCR&R will present “Building Relationships with Families”. The training will be at St. John’s Parish Hall, 521 W. Colorado, Okarche. This will be 2 or 3 hours of FREE Tier I training! More details to follow. Enid, November, Cheryl Patterson will be offering CPR/FA in November. No date has been set as yet.
