Dear City of Chicago Customer,
The City of Chicago’s Electricity Aggregation Program has been
underway for more than a year, saving Chicagoans more than
$25 million as compared to what they would have paid ComEd.
Additionally, all electricity sourced on behalf of the City’s program is
from completely coal free resources.
As an eligible City of Chicago customer, you will be automatically
enrolled in the program unless you opt-out by October 31, 2014.
Once enrolled, you may leave at any time and you will never have to
pay any fees associated with joining or leaving the program.
Three things
you should know
 If you do nothing, you will be
automatically enrolled in the City’s
program.
 ComEd will continue to send
monthly bills, respond to outages,
and deliver your electricity.
 No one from Integrys or the
City will come to your door or call
you to ask you to switch to a new
supplier. Anyone who does is not
with the City’s program.
How The Plan Works - My Balanced Energy Plan
Pricing will begin with your December 2014 meter read and is based
on a two-part, balanced pricing structure, called “My Balanced
Energy Plan.” See enclosed Terms and Conditions for details. The plan includes:
(1) a low fixed price of 5.299¢/kWh, and
(2) a monthly customer charge ($XX.XX) which covers costs everyone in ComEd service territory pays
regardless of supplier.

Term of Contract
Your contract term for the City’s aggregation program is your December 2014 meter read through your May
2015 meter read. You can expect to see Integrys’ low per kWh rate and monthly customer charge on your
January 2015 electricity bill, depending on enrollment date.
Sourced from Non-Coal and Illinois Wind Farms
Integrys will source electricity from coal free resources. In addition, 5% of the electricity provided through the
program will be generated by Illinois wind farms.*
No Change to ComEd Programs such as Budget Billing, Deferred Payment, LIHEAP or PIPP
Under the City’s program, ComEd remains responsible for electricity delivery, monthly bills, maintaining
electricity lines and meters, responding to outages, and offering budget billing and automatic payment
options. In addition, any applicable Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) and Percentage
of Income Payment Plan (PIPP) will continue undisturbed.
Enrollment Information
Those new to the City’s program will receive a letter from ComEd confirming your selection of Integrys Energy
Services, Inc. as your electric supplier. If you have recently switched to an alternative retail supplier, you will
stay with your supplier unless you opt-in to the City’s program.
How to Opt-Out
There is no cost or penalty to opt-out of the program. If you do not wish to participate in the City’s Electric
Aggregation Program, use the enclosed envelope to return the opt-out card at the bottom of this letter by
October 31, 2014. You may also opt-out online at www.integrysenergy.com/il-chicago.
