That is why our largest event of the year, the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Hawaii (RMHC-HI) Gala Dinner, is so very important to us and the families that we serve. Our annual “Share a Night” Gala is coming up on Sunday, November 16 at the Sheraton Waikiki Ballroom. It is a magical evening of gourmet dining and entertainment. One of the main attractions at the Gala is our live and silent auction. We depend on contributions from the community, and hope that you will consider providing an item or a gift certificate for products or services to help make the evening a great success. Your generosity will help us step forward for nearly 400 struggling families this year, providing them with a safe, home-like place to stay and family services designed to give them the feeling of comfort and support in the face of all their challenges. The whole family suffers greatly when a child is sick, and being away from home makes it even tougher. For most of us, it’s hard to imagine, but the Hosler Family of Kona, Hawaii, shared their family’s experience this way: “We are so thankful to have received the gift of Ronald McDonald House during our most difficult times. It allowed us to stay together as a family to support our son Noah during his chemotherapy. To the volunteers, donors, and everyone else who chip in to make the Ronald McDonald House happen, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.” These kinds of outcomes are made possible because of business and community leaders like you. As a donor, your company will be featured at the event, in our program, and through our website, reaching thousands of individuals. Thank you for considering our request for a donation to “Share a Night”. For your convenience, we have enclosed an auction donation form. Donations are kindly requested by October 31. Your gift will go a long way toward ensuring that we can provide essential services that mean so much to Hawaii’s families.
