Sports/Activities:
Football – Section 4A tournament ACGC vs. BBE 7:00 @ ACGC
The girls’ locker room will be closed at 4:45 today.
The admission fee for section volleyball and football is $7 for adults and $5 for students. Only section passes
may be used for admission
Dance Team - meet at the doors at the end of the 7th grade hall, by the van garage. Dancers will walk in a
group to Grove Square. Late bus is available.
Section 5A volleyball play offs will begin on Thursday, October 23rd. ACGC will travel to EVW for a 7:00 pm
match. The winner of this round will play at BBE on Friday, October 24th at 7:00 pm.
Sign up for junior high boys’ basketball in the office. Practice begins November 5th at the 5-12 School.
Girls Golf - If you are planning on going out for golf this spring, please see Mrs. Maurer ASAP
Falcon Clothing Order:
The ACGC Boosters have put together a clothing order. If you are interested in ordering go to
www.rambow.com the store code is: ACGC The deadline to order is October 26
Lost & Found:
Found – by the football practice field – Nintendo DS. Stop in the office to claim
Drama:
No Play Practice Today!! Music practice on Wednesday - full practice on Thursday.
Students:
There will be a flu shot clinic held for students at ACGC, Wed Oct 29 in the morning. The information and
permission forms can be found on the school website. Please return signed forms to the nurse’s office
by Oct 22.
Juniors and Seniors:
The ASVAB test will be happening on Wednesday Oct. 29th and Thursday Oct. 30th in the Media Center. All
Juniors and a few Seniors (those that missed it last year) will be taking it. Test session rosters are posted
in the office window. See Mrs. Geurts if you have questions.
There will be a UMD admissions rep here at 3:00 on Wednesday, Oct 22nd to answer questions you may
have. Please obtain a pass from the office to meet with her.
Seniors:
Free Application Week is October 27th - October 31st. Mrs. Geurts invites you to the computer lab
on Wednesday, October 29th to apply to colleges and universities. We will meet in the lab at 3:40. The
process will take about 45 minutes. If you have ever taken a college course and have a star ID, you will
need to know it. See you then!
College Knowledge Month – Double-check each college’s application requirements.
October is College Knowledge Month! See Mrs. Geurts to find out if the college you are interested in is
waiving application fees this month!

about their fundraiser, today. ACGC FFA Fruit Sales begins today until Nov 19th.

27# of carrots were harvested from the school garden for a total of 350 # so far this year!
2 # of lettuce were harvested from the school garden for a total of 13 # so far this year!
32 pumpkins were harvested from the garden.
54 # of carrots were harvested from the school garden for a total of 332 # so far this year!
30 pounds of tomatoes were harvested from the school garden for a total of 79 pounds so far this year!
165 pounds of Russet potatoes were harvested from the school garden for a total of 253 pounds so far this year.
4 pounds of cucumbers were harvested from the school garden for a total of 266 pounds so far this year.
Onions - 16 # of yellow, 11 # red, 12 # white were harvested from the school garden for a total of 39 # so far!
8 cantaloupe (22 pounds) were harvested from the garden on Friday.
13 honeydew melons (52 pounds) were harvested from the garden on Friday.
142 pounds of potatoes were harvested from the school garden for a total of 142 pounds so far this year.
