CAMDEN VALLEY WAY UPGRADE
Traffic changes from Ingleburn Road, Leppington to Oran
Park Drive, Harrington Park from Wednesday 8 October
The NSW Government is funding this $280 million road upgrade of Camden Valley
Way between Bringelly Road, Leppington and Oran Park Drive, Harrington Park.
Roads and Maritime is widening the existing Camden Valley Way from a two lane road to a four lane divided
road between Bringelly Road, Leppington and Oran Park Drive, Harrington Park.
Traffic has been moved to one lane in both directions on Camden Valley Way between Ingleburn Road,
Leppington and Oran Park Drive, Harrington Park. This traffic arrangement will be in place until the end of the
year when this road work is expected to be completed and fully open to traffic.
As part of the Camden Valley Way upgrade a wide centre median is currently being completed to separate
opposing traffic flows to improve safety for motorists. A right turn bay has been provided for large vehicles
turning right into George Road. Access to Park, Dwyer and Deepfields roads is now restricted to left in and
left out only and for residents and businesses fronting Camden Valley Way between Ingleburn Road and
Oran Park Drive. To help address this, right turn movements can now be carried out at the following traffic
light intersections and are highlighted on the map overleaf:
Zone 1 - Ingleburn Road and St Andrews Road
Zone 2 – St Andrews Road and Raby Road
Zone 3 – Raby Road and Catherine Field Road
Zone 4 – Catherine Field Road and Oran Park Drive
These road changes may have impacted on some bus services, routes and timetables for the area, we
suggest residents check with their local bus company.
Changed traffic conditions
Road users are asked to follow the direction of traffic controllers, adhere to reduced speed limits and follow
traffic signs. Motorists may experience delays due to these changed traffic conditions. There may be some noise
associated with this work, but every effort will be made to minimise the impact on residents and businesses.

users. Up to date information, including any date changes and detours will be displayed on electronic
message signs along the road.
