Serica™
Tightly controlled low surface waviness
SericaTM is a premium hot-dip galvanised surface finish, providing finely
balanced surface characteristics that result in a minimized waviness of
the metallic coated surface. The guaranteed low waviness after forming
of less than 0.40 μm enables an excellent paint result, even when
thinner or fewer paint layers are used, and allows a lower total cost of
ownership for large, exposed panels like hoods, doors, fenders and
bodysides. Serica™ is available on formable and bake-hardenable
grades in widths up to 1850mm.

Oiling
The material surface is oiled with preservative oil. Other types of oils
are available upon request. The amount of supplied oil ranges from
